Amazing staff, took care of me to supply a vegan breakfast for me. I am very satisfied :) The shower was dirty and the stream of water was weak. But I give the highest rate to the hotel because of the superb staff

Good service

Well-cleaned, excellent and quick service, good breakfast (wish there were more vegetarian options but it's the Philippines so expected). Unfortunately quite a few insects got in, like previous reviews have mentioned. And the location could be a bit better but that wasn't a big deal.

Rooms don't have any windows. Also hard to find some hot water in the showers. The pool water was colder than the lakes here, in Canada. Reliable wifi. Decent breakfast. No offence but I will make sure next time I do NOT book that hotel.

Iloilo City Proper should be called Old Iloilo. This hotel is in the historic part of Iloilo. My room was small but functional and had a fridge. AC worked well. (Some rooms have no exterior window.) The building itself was once part of the nearby University of Iloilo. The staff are great.

My 3rd stay continued the streak of excellent service from the friendly staff. My room air conditioner was having problems and they fixed quickly. Later in the trip, the air conditioner had further problems so they moved my room. Their responses were fast and appreciated. I know where I’m staying when I’m back in Iloilo in the future.

I drove by the place at night a few days before my check-in. I thought i made a big mistake coming there. There were no lights and the area looked abandoned. I checked in and discovered a wonderful place with a great free breakfast at the on site restaurant, The Rabbit Hole. My only complaint was that the room had a moldy smell when the AC was not running. The AC goes off when you remove the access key from the power source. Once key is removed all the power goes off. It has to be an energy saving process. Anyway, I was there about 5 days. While i did see a couple of roaches, i didn't hold it against them. The hotel i had be this one had more roches and was less comfortable. I came to the conclusions thatthe buildings are old and connected to old structures. The staff is plentiful and very friendly. I enjoyed my stay there. I just had to tell it all.

The room we stayed was too small for 2 persons, its just enough for the bed and a little space. Its hard to move for 2 persons together at thesame time. The room has no safe. The room is clean though. Staffs in the restaurant doesnt seem to know what they are doing. We had our breakfast, i ordered a coffee, a prepared set of breakfast plate was given to my wife even if she did not ordered yet, then came my plate of food, reminded them again of my coffee, more than 20 minutes after i initially ordered my coffee, it came. The smell in the hallway is disgusting, Air Con in the hallway and lobby is off. The area around the hotel building is dirty, staffs are constantly reminding us when we go out to be extra careful as there’s a lot of pickpocketers around the area.

Overall, the service and the hotel itself was amazing. You could tell customer service was given importance to. The scent of the beddings, towels, and the room itself smells beautiful (smells like coconut). The front desk were very helpful and nice. The rest of the employees were polite. Also, the whole room was really clean and comfortable. Would definitely be back here if i'm in town again.

Bathroom with a view was terrible. Rooms have glass partitioned bathroom and even if you lower the blinds, someone using the toilet is still visible. Room was small. Check-in took so long because walked in guests were seen to first and all their available options explored and were undecided and were trying to get promotional price, etc. Only one person in reception and although paperwork to sign were printed and ready, nothing else was. Breakfast was a long time as one has to order and some menu options were not nice at all.
