Veste Oberhaus is a fortress that was founded in 1219 and, for most of its time, served as the stronghold of the Bishop of Passau, Germany. The fortress is located on the mountain crest St. Georgsberg on the left side of the Danube between it and the Ilz, and dominates the old city of Passau, which it faces across the Danube. Below Oberhaus on the promontory between the two rivers is Veste Niederhaus, part of the fortress system.

Looking down on the confluence of the rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz at Passau from the Look-Out Tower at the Veste Oberhaus. It is so amazing to see the different colours of the three rivers coming together.

Wir wurden bei Schlüsselübergabe über Mängel aufmerksam gemacht welche zu Beginn nicht so schlimm waren. Jedoch war die Sauberkeit unterirdisch. Vor allem in den beiden Küchen Schmutz, Verkrustungen Verklebungen, Spinnweben und schmutziges Geschirr. Da wir nur 3 Tage Urlaub hatten sind wir lieber ...
