“Charming cottage, conveniently situated near Stonehenge and other related sites. It was a great base for us to explore the area. The cottage had all we needed to be comfortable - plenty of space, comfortable beds and well equipped. The village has a great pub (The Plume of Feathers). We were there on a Sunday evening when it is usually shut, but the landlord said he would open the kitchen just for us!! The menu was imaginative and the food absolutely excellent so do recommend patronising……

“Why is the rating so low?
Because the photos and the description do not match reality. The listing clearly states that guests have access to a BBQ (as shown on the website), but the real photos do not confirm the presence of any barbecue area. In our messages, we were informed at the last moment that there was no BBQ at all. The host even suggested that we could bring our own barbecue, which clearly shows that the listing was misleading. “This is located almost on a roundabout of a major road, however, it wasn’t noisy at all. Close to stone henge and literally across the street from a restaurant pub. Great people. The site itself is a little muddy due to some construction happening but I’m sure it will be fine in the summer time. ”

Fantastic property with attention to detail and thoughtful inclusions. A wonderful home to come back to after a day exploring the Cotswolds. Clean and comfortable home. “Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! ”
