Le Mortinete Farmstay: Olive Oil Mill

Surrounded by olive groves and the rolling hills of Chianti, Frantoio is a cosy and bright two-story apartment located in a charming farmhouse at Agriturismo Le Mortinete, just 25 minutes from the historic centre of Florence. It is the ideal place for those who want to relax in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside, without sacrificing the convenience of visiting the city and the region’s most beautiful villages.

The apartment features 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en suite), a fully equipped kitchen, antique terracotta floors, and a stunning view of the garden and the surrounding landscape. Outside, you’ll find two sun loungers and a table where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner al fresco surrounded by nature.

During your stay, you’ll have access to the pool with a whirlpool in the main estate, reachable via a pleasant walk through olive groves and cypress trees. Upon your arrival, we’ll also be happy to offer you a tasting of our extra virgin olive oil, produced from the estate’s own olive trees.

The location is perfect for exploring Chianti, with Greve in Chianti, Impruneta, Siena, and other beautiful destinations within easy reach. To reach the apartment, you’ll need to travel a short stretch of dirt road—typical of the Tuscan countryside—and we’ll be happy to assist you to ensure your arrival is simple and pleasant.
