"Wr had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious we could spread out and not feel like we were piled on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and baths were clean and comfortable. We were close enough to town to walk to restaurants and shops. This is a quiet neighborhood in a small town, but we spent a day in St. Louis, only an hour or so away. And the eclipse, what a bonus! "Four of us stayed here for the eclipse. The place was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were a lot larger than I was expecting. The nearby trains can be a little loud, however the host was prepared with earplugs for sleeping and we all slept well. It is an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. I recommend La Fuente, or Joe's Pizza. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable chairs in the living room."

"This hotel is fantastic! Everyone we met was really friendly and made us feel right at home. We tried dinner and drinks at the hotel for the first time, and it was delicious—hot and very satisfying. Honestly, having a good meal on-site after a long day of driving really sets this place apart. The bed was super comfy, and we slept so well. The shower was our favorite part—it was spacious and easy to move around in. This was our second stay, and it definitely won’t be our last!"
