Peaceful Retreat
This home is charming, clean and inviting, spacious enough for my family of four and yet cozy! The home is well equipped to make our stay comfortable . French doors offer great viewing of the lovely 15 acres. We love watching the geese and the variety of birds that make the pond their home. This is definitely one of our favorite VRBO’s and we hope to return!

Paradise
We cannot say enough about our stay. We came for a weekend of college baseball and bird watching and both were a total success. The house is beautiful, clean and exactly as shown online. The attention to detail and little extras (coffee syrups, snacks, binoculars, makeup pad removers) really put this above most other rentals we have stayed at. It is located on the most beautiful wildlife preserve with a deck overlooking a lake filled with wildlife. We saw baby geese, bald eagles trying to catch breakfast, wild turkeys, coyotes, deer, and so much more. We cannot wait to be back!

So Homey and Amenities Galore
This place truly felt like home; like I was staying at a relatives home who thought of everything I might need. Not only was there everything from seasonings to shampoos, but there was complimentary snacks, champagne, and even fresh eggs! I was tickled about the eggs, the fire, the cozy fur pelt to snuggle with, and the really fluffy comfy bedding. It was more than I expected!

Peaceful Cabin
I was in town to visit my brother and his family, so I didn’t spend much time onsite to maximize all the amenities; however, this was the best stocked places I have ever stayed. The host had coffee, tea, hot chocolate and all the extras to make the best hot beverage. She also had a cabinet with non-perishables available in case needed. There were eggs from their chickens available in the fridge. They had games, birdwatching guides, and lots of local recommendations for your visit. Very cozy place with lots of touches to make your time here relaxing. Outdoor seating was available. Would recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful spot to unwind.

Crown Jewel in a Bucolic setting.
Quiet and Quant! Beautiful inside and out. Free range eggs were a special treat. Plenty of room for 4 people. The pond outside was a beautiful view.

4th Stay
Kathryn and Dee have made us feel so special each time we've come. We even had a coyote welcome us our first night on this trip. To having the lights on, the beautiful flowers and card, to the wonderful throws to snuggle under while watching the wildlfe and weather with the fireplace going. Hubby has enjoyed the coffee bar so much. We've already booked our 5th stay for next summer. Sincerly, D & M.

Beautiful Property and Space
Jaw-dropping views. Homey and beautiful space. Over and above thoughtful touches on kitchen supplies, toiletries and incredibly comfortable linens and pillows and blankets. We would love to come back, especially during bird migration!

Excellent!!!
My husband and I stayed for a week to celebrate our 20th anniversary. It was lovely. The place was clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful area. There were so many little touches that made it feel very welcoming. The only thing we’d change would be to add some sort of window covering for the front door.

Perfect Country Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights at this beautiful, well stocked cottage. The only "issue" was the shower was a little tight as my husband is a bigger guy. The roads are a bit windy and can be a little confusing, so use your GPS. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful Place
Wonderful place, except for the double booking first night - we had to sleep in our rental truck since we arrived at 2:45 am - but after that, all was great, and owner was accommodating to the mishap. Would highly recommend property to others in the area and/or visiting the Willamette Valley for wine tasting or other.

The only reason for the 4 is that we did see some cob webs and the bedroom ceiling fan was dusty.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The farmers have been plowing the fields around the house to prepare them for Fall planting. We will make sure to dust the ceiling fans when the fields are plowed in addition to our regular scheduled cleaning.

Magical getaway
Amazing getaway for my wife and her friend to recharge batteries before beginning of school. Couches were comfy, great views at night of meteor shower, and very cozy accommodations all the way around helped make us dads look like geniuses and the moms starting a new tradition! Will be back for sure!

Great quiet and scenic location. The home was much more than expected from pictures/descriptions. Lots of extra touches made our stay wonderful! Great beds, claw foot soaking tub made our time luxurious. Kitchen was well equipped and stocked which was appreciated. Would stay again if in area😊

A Wonderful Get Away

Great place to stay when graduating
Me and my family are from California and stayed here so that I could graduate from OSU with my masters. Really enjoyed the peacefulness of the house and loved that it was a bird sanctuary. especially since I just graduated with a fisheries and wildlife degree! Perfect coincidence

Everything about our stay was perfect. Peaceful Getaway
Dee and Kathryn provided such a beautiful property for us when we stayed at the Anderson House. The cleanliness of the place and attention to needs of residents was astounding. They had everything and more than we could think of on our own. They provided games for us to play, speaker for us to listen to, and even children’s books our son could enjoy. When I opened the cabinet to find a complete set of toddler dishes and utensils, my toddler was so happy to see familiar dishes and get to use them on his own. The property the house sits on is so peaceful and magical. The birds, the sounds, the water, and of course the wonderful beavers. This weekend was the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy our wedding weekend festivities fully. The Anderson House is about an hour and twenty minutes from Lincoln City where we were able to introduce our son to the ocean for the first time. They provided a binder full of recommendations in the area. While we may have been super busy, I am so excited we had enough spare time to follow their recommendation. Thank you, Dee and Kathryn for such a beautiful stay!

Great Get-Away From Hustle-Bustle Busyness
Everything was just as pictured and presented! Relaxing, comfortable space. Plenty of equipment to fix gourmet meals, with many staple ingredients available right in the cupboards. Easy space in which to work on meal prep and connect with family lounging on comfy sofa, watching movies. Nice gas fireplace that warmed up the whole place right away. Claw foot tub: perfect for soaking in Epson salt while reading my favorite book and sipping wine. Bright and welcoming home away from home. Love the small-town shops that are only about 10 minutes away. The furnishings and extras make this home a wonderful place to relax and revitalize. Plan to make repeat stays during different seasons.

A bit of paradise
A charming little house with lovely detail! Windows looking out on a pond with a multitude of geese and goslings and ducks and ducklings! Ideal setting for bird watching! The hosts have thought of everything to make their visitors comfortable and enjoy their stay! I have stayed at many VRBO’s and this one is outstanding!

Great Little Home away from Home
I needed a place to spend 10 days with my granddaughter while she was on her spring break. This house was perfect just minutes from her home and gave me my own space. The house is full amenities and everything you would need for an extended stay. I was surprised with the amount of care that was put into the thoughtful little touch’s that made this home so comfortable. The updated house is very tasteful and cozy inside and the outside is beautiful and relaxing. It was a pleasure to wake up and look out at all the nature activities that were taking place on the pond and grounds. This place is a gem I will definitely stay again when the occasion arises.

Peace-filled Retreat
Our stay was lovely and peace-filled, which is just what we needed. The accommodations, special touches, and the attention to detail made us feel special and brought much comfort. Our young boys were thrilled with the wild turkeys, squirrels, birds, and caterpillars! The house was perfect and the location was spectacular.

A little off the beaten path and amazingly comfy! This is the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Clean, comfy and so very welcoming. The beds were so comfortable and so many choices of pillows. We will be staying here for all of our visits to our son at Oregon State.

The Anderson House is a beautiful home in a lovely location. Peaceful and beautiful both indoors and out! Our family stayed 7 nights, and are so happy we chose to come here. Although we spent most of our days away as we were visiting family local to the area, the Anderson House was just the perfect place to unwind after busy, fun-filled activities. The house was very clean, the directions accurate, the communication was simple and responses very timely, the check-in process was convenient. All around 5-star. Would definitely stay here again!

A night away
I came to stay here with my daughter and her grampy. It is located in the perfect spot for kids to really get some good nature time. And she loved the entire house especially the tub.the home is very well stocked for your stay. The host was very responsive and accommodated us for an early check-in.
