"The staff was super good. So helpful, they even walked me in the neighborhood to help me with shopping. The food they got me was excellent. They also helped me figure out how to get where I was going. And to get a taxi. Siliguri in itself is kind of a sketchy area, but it's inexpensive. And they are trying to make the hotel kind of an oasis in the midst. They were doing quite a bit of renovating while I was there, trying to make it really nice. "Our little lodge was fabulous with every creature comfort. Watched peacocks, deer and monkeys from the patio. They cleaned up the room 3 times a day. The staff knocked themselves out at every turn. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Our guide from Pashan Gahr, George, worked so hard to find a tiger and a beautiful tiger ambled right by us! He explained all about the animals and their behavior in that setting. Rocky took good care of us from morning to night."
