I loved my stay here the staff are so easy going and friendly. The Ayurvedic massage is the best in Varkala and the view of the beach and ocean is amazing. Helpful staff and clean rooms with sea views across the helipad/car park. Near to clifftop restaurants and the beach. Quiet during weekdays. Slightly lacking in atmosphere (restaurant is only open for breakfast - no evening bar/restaurant available, although there are many within a short walk)

Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next ...
