“I took my daughter to Destin for spring break. The condo was exactly as advertised; nicely updated and very clean. Sandpiper Cove is a nice complex. We played the par 3 golf course 4 times during our stay and swam in the pool just outside of the unit. The unit is in the back of the complex, so the walk to the beach was about a 5-10 minute walk. We did that once, then found it easier to drive and park in the provided lot since we had chairs and umbrellas. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would……

“The owners were in touch and checked on us to make sure everything was okay. We appreciated the beach chair and umbrella provided. We loved that Pelican Beach had everything in close proximity, including the pools and beachfront. Reserving beach chairs is the way to go because if you don’t, you are stuck in the back of the beach without even being able to hear the ocean. “The place was overall great! It was large and spacious. We made a lot of our meals and really liked the large kitchen, which was fully stocked. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious as well. We liked having a balcony with a view of the beach, which was a short walk down. There was a lot of construction going on, but that was already stated by the owner and it did not cause a problem for us. “Property was in the middle of repairs to their stairway and rubbish shute and was quite noisy and difficult to tolerate the loud noise. The noise was nonstop all day long and started as early as 7am. Sounded like a jackhammer running all day long in the condo next to ours but it was in the stairwell. The owner of the condo was WONDERFUL and offered us to stay a few extra days because of the noise. The owner was very accommodating and very easy to reach. If florida is ever on my vacation list I……
