Great location

Super Dooper

4 days at the house while working at Indy Motorspeedway. Great place to hang right in the heart of it all. Outdoor firepace was killer.

Family gathering/ solar eclipse

Great place for a family gathering and viewing the eclipse. Lots of privacy. Had 2 bedrooms we didn't use.

Great location!

The location is excellent! It is a short walk to Lucas Oil Stadium and the Convention Center. The host was easy to get in touch with and accommodating. There is plenty of parking, which saves on parking fees. However, the house smelled moldy; it needs new non-carpet flooring, minor repairs throughout the house, sags in the floor, lights that are out, a deep cleaning of overhead fans, and updated art and decorations.

Nice and cozy

Such a neat house. For us the location was perfect. We were in town for the Performance Racing Industry trade show, and this put us right next to Lucas Oil Stadium. Perfect walk.

Great House for Large Group

This house was perfect for our group of 14. Plenty of room, and everything on the listing was as described. The location could not have been better for attending an event at Lucas Oil Stadium. You can literally see the stadium from the backyard.

Perfect for our event

The house and linens were clean. There was plenty of parking. Ample bathrooms for 14 guests. We were able to cook a full breakfast with the kitchen supplies and the proximity to the convention center and stadium made for easy access and travel. Was very close to a small park making it kid-friendly in terms of entertainment. Host was easy to contact and answered our questions promptly on a Saturday evening. Highly recommend this home away from home.

Get Location for Football Games

We have a group of 10 guys that go to Indianapolis every year for a guys weekend and we go to the Big Ten Championship game at Lucas Oil stadium. This house was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of beds and bedrooms & outdoor space to tailgate. The proximity to Lucas Oil Stadium is great as it is only a couple of blocks to the stadium. Also only a 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants downtown on the north side of the stadium. Will book again for sure!

Diamond in the rough

Had no idea there was such a great place in the middle of the near south of Indy. We were able to hold a family reunion. It's close to downtown, grocery stores, and the interstate. Also just a block from Lucas Oil Stadium if that's what you're looking for. Plenty of parking. Found a couple of small issues with the house that didn't affect our stay, the owner was just a call away to let him know and was very responsive to our concerns.

Adequate, except in the kitchen

We booked because the house had the correct number of bedrooms and bathrooms. However, the living room was too small for all of us. The kitchen and kitchen table are tiny, therefore hard to use. I know the house is old, but newly remodeled SHOULD mean level floors, decent cabinets and functioning range burners, which are not!

Things to know

If you have elderly or handicapped, main level bathroom has a step up to get to sink, shower and toilet. From kitchen to eating area instead of steps has a slight angled “ramp” to walk on. Forgot, wasn’t looking and tripped. Floors are uneven due to age, etc. Bring earplugs if trucks and cars bother you at night. Very close to main exit, hear vehicles. Awesome yard, parking, and amenities. Loved the special gift basket and treats in room. Hot water was was a problem.(5 minutes max and took about 3-5minutes to run before got hot. Art responded quickly, had plumber come, thought it was fixed, but no. Was able to boil water to use for sponge bath type cleaning. Wasn’t fixed when we left. Huge kitchen, with everything you need including griddle, crockpot, skillet, pots and pans, dishes, salt, pepper, spices, Pam spray, cooking oil, foil, plastic wrap, oven mits,even laundry detergent. we left some packets of mayo, ketchup, etc. Lots of space to eat. Freezer/fridge excellent. Very private setting outside, No houses next to you. Walk to stadium maybe 3 minutes. Great for games. Very short drive to convention center. Krogers close by. House had board and card games, plenty of towels and blankets, toilet paper, brochures of things to do, beds and pillows were good. No crappy mattresses. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again. 4 stars cause water couldn’t be fixed within our stay. Art was quick on responding and tried to have water fixed within our stay. Sometimes things just happen. Lovely older home. If you have a lot of people, want privacy, lots of space, this is the house for you. Thanks for the memories:)

Quaint Historic Home - not a lot of fluff

There is good and bad to this property. I probably would have given it a higher star rating (3 stars) if I hadn't noticed a sign in the home offering to pay people for 5 star reviews. So here's a real review: Cons: Paint is peeling (with kids this is an issue) Water tastes disgusting Blankets & comforters need a good wash Only one refrigerator--for a home that boasts it can sleep a large crowd it needs the facilities to support that large crowd Right by the freeway and exit to hospital (insert ambulance sirens) - we slept with noisemakers on Lightbulbs burned out in multiple rooms Pros Quick response of property manager Lots of towels, chairs and outdoor seating Noisemakers in almost every room Location is easy access to many things Security System helped us feel safer A review we read suggested it felt like a frat house and I'd say that's pretty accurate. Can house a lot of people (but needs another fridge) but I definitely wouldn't refer to it as a "luxury home" although the welcoming gift basket was a nice touch.

15 of us stayed at this house. It was great. We were just 2 blocks from Lucas Oil stadium. I would recommend this house if you have a big group or if you are going to a event at the stadium.

Go Dawgs!!!!! Great place to stay if going to a game at Lucas. It’s in your backyard. Wow. Wow. Wow. Fells like it was designed by a fraternity, plenty of beds. Space, etc. Just needs a big ass TV.

Great house in a great location.

A group of ten of us went to Indy for a marching band competition. The house was very large and within walking distance to Lucas Oil Field. Will stay here again if we get the chance.
