"WritingWe had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, spacious, and exactly as described. One of our favorite features was the beautiful lake view from the backyard, along with the relaxing sound of the waves along the shore. It made for such a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.The home was well-appointed with everything we needed, and the thoughtful little goodie bag of assorted items waiting for us was a nice touch. We especially appreciated that the home was pet-friendly, as we travel everywhere with our dog. It’s always a bonus to find a place where our furry family member is welcome, too! The king-sized bed was soft and comfortable, and the host responded to my questions within a reasonable time frame.One helpful tip for future guests: bring flip-flops for the shower! The pebbled shower floor is literally like standing on rocks, so it may not be the most comfortable experience for everyone.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness, comfort, thoughtful touches, and beautiful lakeside setting. It was a lovely place to unwind, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, especially those traveling with their pets!"

"The house was lovely, very vintage feeling with comfortable beds. The view was beautiful. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We saw bald eagles, golden eagles, egrets, pelicans, deer, and a baby porcupine! The area in front of the house on the water was not great for swimming because its quite shallow and rocky with zebra mussels. But, it's fine for wading with swim shoes. There is also a county park down the road that has a swimming area."
