"Positives:
*Leo, the manager was wonderful; really lovely, happy disposition (even though it was a late check-in 10:30pm!) he smiled throughout the whole interaction & even gave me a complimentary bottle of water (a nice gesture).
*Check-in process was simple, appropriate without anything jarring or drawn-out.
*Parking: great it was free & on the property.
*Very good air-con.
*Bedding / mattress: surprisingly fantastic, supportive, firm, pillows were likewise, clean, crisp sheets & well-laundered towels.
*Generally clean around the kitchenette / microwave / fridge - not perfect but ok.
Negatives:
*Very obviously only vacuumed the main central areas. All the peripheral spaces were dreadful; a build- up of dirt, hair, debris, small dead bugs etc. Please vacuum the entire room & bathroom fully & completely!
*Room didn’t at all resemble the photo on the website!
*Traffic noise very prevalent in the morning.
*The water pipes were also audible.
*The shower mixer was faulty, extremely problematic as was the shower head. Temperature couldn’t be retained. A 5 minute shower took nearly 20 minutes!
*There’s no phone in the room. Guests need to contact reception using their cell phone.
*Very dark colour scheme: it was stifling.
*Chair very uncomfortable; had to do all my computer work admin. on the bed. Not a functional space.
If the owners fix the above, it would be a nice, handy Motor Inn & business would boom. They already have the wonderful Leo!"
