“A fantastic stay at Glen Lyon Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful Skye room, with a lovely view of the garden. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable. Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The fresh milk for tea in the room was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent too. Don't miss Helen's delicious avocado toast and homemade porridge! The location is perfect, with restaurants and the beach within easy walking distance, and……

“The property is lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I picked a place outside the city for the quiet and that is why I am not giving it higher rating. Walls are super thin and as I told the owner it was like my neighbors were having a frat party. Loud talking and laughing until almost midnight and when I dressed to go ask them for quiet it was like the whole hall was blasting tvs or laughing it up. When it finally calmed down in the early hours the guy next door was snoring and it……

“Wonderful staff and location.”

“Beautiful guest house, rooms were immaculate and staff were great. Definitely be back again.”

“The room was cosy and comfortable, and the made-to-order breakfast was excellent. There was also plenty of parking, which was very convenient. Our only suggestion for the owner would be to send the check-in information, including instructions for accessing the room, a day in advance via Expedia message or email. As international travellers, we had very limited mobile data signal when we arrived and had a little difficulty getting in touch with the owner for check-in. Once we were checked in,……

“Very clean and nice property. Seamless check in and check out.”

“Derek and Fiona are the best hosts I hv ever met. Though we arrive late, they had no issue at all and came out to receive us warmly and welcoming. The room is absolutely fantastic, neat and tidy. Can see they put a great deal of efforts to decorate them. Feeling very homey :)”

“This is a fairly new property and this is reflected in the modern decor, and clean & smart set up. No staff on site but arrangements communicated beforehand in terms of property access and room key collection were faultless. Parking on site so no issues with proximity. We did not have breakfast (book and pay separately if required). River runs behind the property so soothing sound of running (nay rushing) water throughout. Only issue was the green light (fire regs ?) meant the room was not dark……
