Wonderful retreat getaway!

My group and I had a lovely stay at Lloyd's Lookout in beautiful Inverness. The property is just as it says in the listing -- beautiful big porch, clean rooms, fully stocked kitchen, and located in an easy to access location. We definitely recommend visiting and hope to come back!

Great week in Inverness

Our week stay at Lloyd’s Lookout was just what we hoped for. Comfortable accommodations, well stocked kitchen (thanks for the yummy eggs!), beautiful deck in the trees for sitting out, great location for exploring the National Seashore and Point Reyes Station. Communication with Ewa, our local host, was excellent. We would recommend Lloyd’s Lookout to others looking for a comfortable retreat in a beautiful part of the world.

Charming cottage in the trees

We loved our recent stay at this newly renovated cottage. It has all of the old Inverness charm but with modern upgrades. Expansive deck was perfect for doing art with my teen daughter on Spring break. Loads of privacy while very close to old town Inverness and all of the Pt Reyes beaches and trail heads.

Second time staying at this gorgeous property

Our family of four stayed for two days after xmas. This property if so nicely situated in old Inverness and close to all trailheads. The views with trees all around is lovely. Having the privacy of the upstairs loft master bedroom from the teens below was also nice. Very functional design in kitchen, dining and living room. We will be back!

A cabin in the woods

We loved our stay in Loyd’s Lair and in Inverness in general, the town, the shops and the activities made it a fun few days. The house was that perfect balance of cute, and comfortable, with enough space for us to get away but also if enough for us to get together. The town is gorgeous and a deluge to walk around, albeit a little hilly. The shops have enough and further afield at point Reyes Station the market was perfect to buy supplies (the local Inverness shop was well stocked). Point Reyes was amazing an interesting place to explore.All in all the five days we spent were fantastic and the house just made things really easy.

50th birthday occasion

My son marked his 50th with his younger sister and me, his mom. Pt Reyes NS was a favorite and frequent destination during their childhood. Fortunately, I booked this lovely cottage for our stay, knowing we might encounter bad weather...and we did - one of the "atmospheric rivers." But despite rain, wind and power outage, we enjoyed our meals, stayed warm and shared family stories. Hope to return again in the future!

Hidden perfect gem!

An attractive, cozy, and very comfortable retreat. Nestled in the redwoods looking down/out to views of the Tomales Bay. Incredible beauty! This home couldn’t have been more perfect! Sharing this with our friends during “the bomb cyclone”, we enjoyed the safety and comfort of this place. Well equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. We would love to return when the weather is more accommodating, to enjoy the deck and the Pt. Reyes National Seashore. House in woods, 2 blocks from “downtown” Inverness, with great views of Tomales Bay from dining room, living room, and two of the three bedrooms. Fully Equipped kitchen. Spotless everywhere. comfortable beds. Strongly recommended. You could spend your whole vacation just enjoying the house, the views, and hikes, beaches, swimming in the bay, and many other activities a short drive (or even a short walk!) from the house.

Comfortable vacation house, fabulous location

We loved our visit to Lloyds Lookout. The house is very comfortable, with beautiful views through the trees to Tomales Bay. The beds are great, well appointed kitchen and bathrooms—everything you would want in a vacation house. Ewa, our host, even left fresh eggs for us, and made sure there was propane for the grill. We can’t wait to return!
