We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. I paid full board including the evening meals as a birthday treat for my wife, which was quite a bit extra, but at the end of our stay they charged me again for dinners. The receptionist said that becouse I had not booked directly through them I was not entitled to do this, which ment paying twice for the meals, and that I was misinformed by the waitress who had said that the meals would be deducted from my final bill. The staff where very nice but didn't seem to know much about this situation and were unable to help me.

Excellent stay at this beautiful hotel and grounds. Staff are super attentive and friendly. Rooms are very quaint and have a lovely spa scent. The spa area although small was a lovely addition. The jacuzzi and massages by Estelle were very relaxing. We had a tasting menu and breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was all very well done. Overall great relaxing weekend getaway.
