"This is a lovely hotel surrounded by green open spaces. The hotel is newly refurbished so all furnishing in the public areas and the room we stayed in are new. The restaurant serves a beautiful buffet style breakfast and serves a basic but wholesome menu for lunch and dinner. Food quality is excellent and the staff extremely kind and attentive.
Plenty of parking is available but to go to central Amsterdam, the bus is the best choice. The stop is less than 100 meters away and takes you directly...

"The Hoxton Lloyd is nice hotel in the middle of a neighborhood where locals live and frequent. The interior and exterior are both equally impressive. As well as the lounge and restaurant inside. The room was clean, cozy, and most of all comfortable.
This is a comfortable place to stay to enjoy your experience in Amsterdam. Directly across the street are a few shops and restaurants.

"Great stay in a very comfortable quiet location, the hotel its self was very clean, with a great vibe. I was welcomed upon arrival by an extremely helpful young lady the keyless entry system is a fantastic idea and worked like a dream. The room was clean compact and very comfortable nice bathroom and very quiet bed was awesome! Check out was just as easy! A little of the beaten track however worth the ferry crossing and the 15 mins walk there’s supermarkets, eateries Amsterdam speciality shops and such friendly people. The hotel also has food coffee( which is great) very cheap accommodation also based on Amsterdam prices, especially for a comfy double! "
"Having stayed in several Doubletree hotels,this one was no exception in that,from the start,we were made to feel welcome Always greeted with a smile and there were 3 girls in particular who would serve us a coffee or a drink in the smaller bar after dinner who were especially kind. I know one was called Nadia and the other one was still at college but keen to get into hospitality and open her own bar one day .The third was a lovely small girl of chinese descent i think. Really the kind of people you want to see at front of house when you come in from the rain.
All in all a wonderful city well worth a visit.
