This home was built in late 1800's, but has since been meticulously updated. Wake up with a coffee and lake view each morning. End your day grilling on the back patio. Lovely little house! Well stocked with kitchen equipment, towels, and other amenities. The little outdoor propane fireplace was a huge bonus. The house was clean and the King bed was very comfy! We will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area. My only complaint is that almost all the lighting in the house was cold bright light. The lamp in the living room was the only warm soft light.

We were happy to be able to bring our dog with us on our trip. The home was as described. It is older, with some updates, like the upstairs bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has an A/C unit, but that was the only room. Thankfully it wasn't too hot during our stay. The host was very good about communicating with us.

The house meet every need that we had. We weren't there long enough to really have anything to complain about. We were out exploring the UP. The only thing I would say is just stay on top of the lawn. I know he said they mow on Tuesdays but it needed tons or weeding done. Also some of the wooden stairs were lose and that could cause someone to get hurt. The home was really warm when we got there but the bedroom was cooled by a portable AC unit. Which was fine and we were able to sleep comfortably. Other than that, the place was great. I would totally stay there again.

Clean and cozy!

The house was clean and cozy, and had everything that we needed to have an enjoyable stay - a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and room enough so that four of us weren't on top of each other. The AC in the bedroom as greatly appreciated on the warm days when we were there! Taylor was a wonderful host and provided very good information on the property and the amenities. Nice place and we'll stay again if the opportunity presents itself.
