“After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night. “Cela a l’air bien sur les photos mais c’est du camping confortable en fait… Le personnel était respectueux mais nous avons dû quitter les lieux et trouver un hôtel à côté pour dormir car cela n’était pas du tout le séjour qu’on avait en tête. Attention aux photos! Il n’y a ni clim, ni moustiquaires (présence d’un ventilo sur pieds). A part la chambre l’hôtel n’offre aucun autre espace de chillage vraiment à part la salle à manger. Juste une chambre dans laquelle dormir et un 3min de marche en……

“I use this property to overnight when I was diving. The power is only on at night but the breeze and fan was adequate for getting us good night's sleep. The water is solid although I didn't trust it for drinking. The owners couldn't have been nicer and they included breakfast was good.”

“Samuel was the best service staff we have ever had. He made an effort to learn English words with us while also teaching us Spanish. He definitely made the trip even better. As for the island, it was incredible. The boat ride there and back was 1000x better than a day trip boat I took a day prior with another company. It’s breezy at night on the island which helps keeps the mosquitos away. Would definitely recommend staying at least 2 nights to be able to fully enjoy the island :)”

We experienced a few issues both before and during our stay, but they handled everything quickly and resolved them in the best possible way, which made us forget about them. “Everything was great! Despite all the reviews, the food was AMAZING! The service great! The only thing i would make a note of was they have a bird named Coco and if she doesn’t like you, she’ll chase you! (First hand experience) but overall, 10/10 would recommend!!!”
