What a wonderful home with a spectacular view! It was better than the pictures show. We will definitely be going back. Richie was very attentive to all of our needs. Do yourself a favor and get the golf cart for the whole time you’re there if you like to venture out at all!

Making memories

Isla Mujeres is one of our favorite places and our stay at Casa Cristal did not disappoint. The location and views were perfect from all levels. The house had all of the amenities we needed and it was nice to get in the pool after a long day on the beach.

This was our second stay at Vila Cristal and it was again perfection. We didn't have any issues during our stay. We love the location as we can choose to walk to many places we enjoy but yet it is easy enough to hail a taxi too! Our short, quick vacation was packed full of seeing the Island and many of our favorite places. Staying here at Cristal was perfect especially because we made great use and enjoyed our "happy hour" by the pool!! We will definitely be back!

Everything about this place is AMAZING! To the point of other reviews. The photos DO NOT do it justice. It is breathtaking. Also, Richie, the care taker is amazing. Very friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations for places to eat! We will definitely be back.

Villa Crystal was exactly as advertised. The pictures don’t do justice to the view from the upstairs bedroom. The mid-island location is ideal with numerous great restaurants within a few blocks. The property manager, Richie, is fantastic! He is friendly and responds quickly to any questions or requests.

Beautiful home with spectacular view

Casa Cristal exceeded our expectations This house is on the quieter South side away from the heavily congested north side Walking distance to wonderful restaurants A golf cart ride to anywhere on the Island. The house manager was available whenever we needed him. All we can say is our stay was amazing and would definitely visit again. We can both highly recommend this vacation spot!

amazing place!

this place is fantastic. just so pretty, the sunrises are unmatched. its got a very 1960's miami vibe to it. if you don't like natural sunlight then its not for you. so full of sun all the time. the pool is fantastic! was even pretty cool in the summer heat where all the other pools were like hot tubs. ricardo was just great and so helpful. highly recommend.

Casa Cristal

Richie was great to work with and always available. The home is in a great location, great pool, beautiful walking path across the street and the views are incredible. We gave it a four star because the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced with more comfortable seating both by the pool, upper deck and roof. The interior furniture is not comfortable except the two upholstered chairs in the master suite. The bed/bedding and towels need to be replaced. Neighbor has dog that continuously barks. Overall, it's one of the nicest houses on the island and a great place to stay.

Stunning views!

We stayed at Casa Cristal with our family of 4 and it was everything we hoped for! The pool is incredible, not sure how it stays so cool in the heat but it was very refreshing after long days on sunny beaches. The views are unbeatable. Our kids said they felt like they were “in a movie” staying there. Also the property manger, Richie, is so responsive and accommodating. He even let us check in early, since it was ready. Highly recommend Casa Cristal!

Pluses and minuses

Casa Cristal has a lot going for it. It’s an architecturally beautiful house with a great view of the water. Ricardo, the house manager, was helpful. But it is right on a busy road so you hear a lot of traffic. And there were neighborhood dogs that we often heard barking ‘til the wee hours of the morning. The island has a nice beach (Norte) but to get to it you need either a golf cart (100 a day) or grab a taxi for about 15 one way (plenty of taxis go by the house). And as nice as the beach is, it’s super crowded with rows of loungers and umbrellas right next to one another. The cost of two loungers and an umbrella is 20-25 daily. There are some great restaurants relatively close by (Limon, Fuego Del Mar and Rosa’s) as well as a few cheaper but good restaurants within walking distance. We were there for two weeks the end of January into February. It was sunny and low 80s each day with only a short shower one afternoon. Glad we went but preferred Maui and Negril, Jamaica where we’ve been more than a dozen times each.

A literal palace

The pictures didn’t do this beautiful home justice. It felt like we’d actually booked a palace. Richie, the house manager, was super attentive and friendly. The pool was such a hit. The views were a dream. We can’t wait to stay again!

Cozy mountain stay

Cabin was just as described. Was hoping we’d see bears on / near the property and we weren’t disappointed! Nolan was easy to get ahold of and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would stay here again if in the area :)

Beautiful Home

Casa Cristal is a beautiful home and a great location. The home is everything it was advertised to be. The views were amazing! Ricardo met us at the home on arrival, checked in multiple times during the our stay and addressed the one small issue that arose immediately. We loved our stay and look forward to staying again.
