Richie was great to work with and always available. The home is in a great location, great pool, beautiful walking path across the street and the views are incredible. We gave it a four star because the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced with more comfortable seating both by the pool, upper deck and roof. The interior furniture is not comfortable except the two upholstered chairs in the master suite. The bed/bedding and towels need to be replaced. Neighbor has dog that continuously barks. Overall, it's one of the nicest houses on the island and a great place to stay.

Villa Crystal was exactly as advertised. The pictures don’t do justice to the view from the upstairs bedroom. The mid-island location is ideal with numerous great restaurants within a few blocks. The property manager, Richie, is fantastic! He is friendly and responds quickly to any questions or requests.

Casa Cristal has a lot going for it. It’s an architecturally beautiful house with a great view of the water. Ricardo, the house manager, was helpful. But it is right on a busy road so you hear a lot of traffic. And there were neighborhood dogs that we often heard barking ‘til the wee hours of the morning. The island has a nice beach (Norte) but to get to it you need either a golf cart (100 a day) or grab a taxi for about 15 one way (plenty of taxis go by the house). And as nice as the beach is, it’s super crowded with rows of loungers and umbrellas right next to one another. The cost of two loungers and an umbrella is 20-25 daily. There are some great restaurants relatively close by (Limon, Fuego Del Mar and Rosa’s) as well as a few cheaper but good restaurants within walking distance. We were there for two weeks the end of January into February. It was sunny and low 80s each day with only a short shower one afternoon. Glad we went but preferred Maui and Negril, Jamaica where we’ve been more than a dozen times each.

this place is fantastic. just so pretty, the sunrises are unmatched. its got a very 1960's miami vibe to it. if you don't like natural sunlight then its not for you. so full of sun all the time. the pool is fantastic! was even pretty cool in the summer heat where all the other pools were like hot tubs. ricardo was just great and so helpful. highly recommend.

Cabin was just as described. Was hoping we’d see bears on / near the property and we weren’t disappointed! Nolan was easy to get ahold of and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would stay here again if in the area :)

Casa Cristal exceeded our expectations This house is on the quieter South side away from the heavily congested north side Walking distance to wonderful restaurants A golf cart ride to anywhere on the Island. The house manager was available whenever we needed him. All we can say is our stay was amazing and would definitely visit again. We can both highly recommend this vacation spot!

The photos online looked amazing but the house in person was even more impressive! The view cannot be beat and the house had everything you could need. The location is great if you’re looking for a quieter stay but the livelier north side of the island is just a brief golf cart ride away. Richie was a great help, he was so responsive to any questions that we had. Overall cannot say enough great things about our stay!

Casa Cristal is a beautiful home and a great location. The home is everything it was advertised to be. The views were amazing! Ricardo met us at the home on arrival, checked in multiple times during the our stay and addressed the one small issue that arose immediately. We loved our stay and look forward to staying again.

We stayed at Casa Cristal with our family of 4 and it was everything we hoped for! The pool is incredible, not sure how it stays so cool in the heat but it was very refreshing after long days on sunny beaches. The views are unbeatable. Our kids said they felt like they were “in a movie” staying there. Also the property manger, Richie, is so responsive and accommodating. He even let us check in early, since it was ready. Highly recommend Casa Cristal!

Nice property in authentic neighborhood with combination high-end rental homes and condos and many typical island homes on the side streets. Felt very safe. Great views of the sea, on corner of a main road, very nice patio and pool (not heated) with ocean view. Friendly and responsive local property manager. Great, local hidden gem restaurants for foodies within 5-10 min golf cart ride. Impressive exterior "wow factor!"

We had a wonderful time at Casa Cristal celebrating our belated 25th anniversary! The beds were quite firm for our taste, but that is a personal thing. The pool was quite cold until our very last day there, we didn't realize it wasn't heated. The house was well outfitted with everything we needed. Ricardo the property manager was great, we didn't need very much from him but what we did need, he was Johnny on the spot for us! Kudos to Ricardo!! We hope to be able to stay at Casa Cristal again in the future!

I want to say that everything was amazing. The house was absolutely wonderful. Ricardo was very helpful in all our needs . He met us at the house and took us straight to a snorkeling tour he set up. The price was reasonable and included lunch. He booked a chef for us one night. I highly recommend! The food was wonderful! The chef owned a local restaurant, he cooked steak and lobster for us at the house. Everything was wonderful. We were on vacation nothing is ever perfect, but this seemed perfect!

This house is stunning. The views, from sunrIse to sunset are absolutely incredible! The location is perfectly central, and the whole island is conveniently accessible with a short golf cart ride away. We celebrated my daughter’s 30th birthday and it was perfectly planned and executed thanks to the help of the kind and attentive Ricardo. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ricardo. He was always a text away. Communication with Bob the owner was easy and immediate. If you are coming to Isla make this amazing house and Ricardo part of your trip. 100% worth it. We miss it and him already.

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The location of the home was perfectly situated on the Caribbean side, across from long walking path overlooking the sea. Away from the hustle of the North Beach (but a quick 10 minute drive by cart). Walking distance from many restaurants, including some great local places. Incredible views from the home, and especially the rooftop with sunset views over Cancun. Also, a very short cart ride from the Chedaraui grocery/liquor store. Then there is Ricardo (the property manager) What can you say, except he was phenomenal. Anything, anytime, he was reachable and assisted with any questions on the property or places to see or go. Thank you! The pool was the largest I have seen at a VRBO, private, and sunny (for at least 2/3 of the day). Internet was perfect and available throughout the entire property. The kitchen was functional and plenty of space to lounge, eat, relax or even work (when it was unavoidable). There are two bedrooms, each with a full bath. Since we went with another couple, we made arrangements ahead of time to switch rooms 1/2 way through the trip and Ricardo helped set up a mid-stay maid service. It turned out to be a great decision, as there was a giant difference in accommodations and in space in the upstairs room vs. the main floor. Both were nice, but king vs. queen, views, space, and probably 3x the square footage in the upstairs.
