The Corner Cottage Sandwick

Traditional croft house recently refurbished, set in a quiet village on the outskirts of Stornoway. Ideally located to Stornoway Airport and Stornoway Ferry Terminal both just a 5 minute drive away. Our town is just minutes by car or take a walk which takes about 30 minutes, or catch one of the many busses passing by the cottage. Boasting views of the harbour entrance and a short walk to a pebble shore. The perfect base to explore our beautiful island beaches in both Lewis and Harris. Free off road private parking with garden.

Comfortable stay

The property provided everything that we needed. The fixtures and fittings were generally of good quality and everything , except the tv worked as required. The tv appeared to have problems with the signal and at times, some channels could not be accessed.The location provided very good access to downtown and to the roads leading out of town.The kitchen was well equipped and preparing meals was relatively easy.

Cosy little house with lovely details

This was a nice little house with everything you need. Our contact was very approachable and helpful. There were nice little details such as little flower bouquets which made it even more cosy. There is quite a loud street next to it, but as we used the place to explore the island this was no problem. We'd strongly recommend the accommodation to anyone who looks for a lovely place to stay in Stornoway from which to do trips around Harris and Lewis. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Fantastic cottage in great location

We loved our stay at Corner Cottage in Sandwick. The place is just three minutes from the centre of Stornoway, supermarket and ferry terminal. It's also ideally located for exploring Lewis and Harris. Corner Cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you are likely to need for a holiday in the Hebrides. Our host Donna was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend Corner Cottage to anyone considering a visit to Lewis or a stay in Stornoway.

Lovely cottage!

Great central location for exploring Lewis and Harris. Donna is a most gracious and accommodating host. The cottage is beautifully updated. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped and the bed is comfy! We would recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful isle.

Beautiful modern little cottage

Lovely modern cottage with fresh decor, a well equipped kitchen and nice details like fresh flowers and fresh eggs. Twenty-five minute walk to Tesco and another five into restaurants and pubs.

A Hebridean adventure

Easy to book and find , great base to explore Lewis and Harris . Lovely welcoming touches from host - fresh eggs ( the best ever tasted!) warm and cosy . Well equipped and spotlessly clean . Beautiful decor .

Excellent property definitely recommend

The cottage is exactly as it looks in the photos, spotlessly clean and very homely. We had milk, bread and eggs provided which was very welcome after the trip there. Fresh flowers in all the rooms were a nice touch. Dressing gowns and towels provided, even beach towels. Very easy place to stay everything you need.
