Nice house. Isle of the Palms is a nice location.

House was nice and fit the needs (bedrooms and bathrooms plus pool) of our family. Communication with host was non-existent and parts of house had not been cleaned well (dirt swept inder rug in kitchen for example). Texts to host went unanswered as well as several phone calls. Had trouble with a door knob leading to roof, bad smell in one of the bedrooms, and elevator didn't always work properly. However, none of the issues were that serious and our vacation was a good one. However, pricing and fees were a bit out of hand so we will probably not use VRBO in the future.

Beach house pleasure

Easy walk to the beach. corner lot with extra parking for 7 cars. Roof deck was spectacular view & outfitted w/ tables, chairs & couch. Ate upstairs . Elevator was handy. Checkout was , takeout trash & turn on dishwasher & leave ! Ample towels. Pool & hot tub with deck chairs. Ping pong table too

Perfect home for our family reunion

We stayed the week of July 4th. Thirteen adults and teens. It was exactly as we expected and as the pictures show. Well maintained and plenty of room for all of us to spread out during the day yet come together each night for a meal in the dining room. We were able to watch multiple fireworks displays from the rooftop, as well as enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset each evening. Very close to the beach access. The pool area is spacious and well laid out. There were pool floats and plenty of lounge chairs for both sun and shade. Being one street off the main drag kept us from feeling the crowds. Only 20 minutes drive to downtown Charleston was also a plus! I would definately recommend this home and hope to have a chance to go back to Isle of Palms agin in the future.

Great family property

What a nice property! We have a big family, and everyone had space. We ate together, played games, watched movies, hung out at the pool... and nobody fought. Lol! Every bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen had everything we could have needed! The bathrooms had lots of towels. The pool and hot tub were great! It was such a short walk to the beach, it was super easy to run back to the house if we needed anything. The rooftop deck had an awesome view. My only suggestion would be a big fan downstairs near the pool/ ping pong tables. It gets really hot in there! We had a wonderful week. Thank you so much! We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Family Vacation!

We enjoyed our Isle of Palms vacation in this beautiful beach house! There were twelve of us, including a senior couple (thank you elevator!), several couples, young adults and older teens. We so appreciated each bedroom having its' own bathroom and the large, open kitchen/living room. Lots of room for togetherness, but plenty of space to spread out for some peace and quiet. The pool, patio, and hot tub were wonderful and used by all! When we needed a break from the sun, the pool table and Ping-Pong table were a fun distraction. The walk to the beach was so quick and the view of the ocean from the rooftop was fantastic! We ate almost all meals at the house, using the grill on several occasions. Some of us rented bikes for the week, which were delivered to the house and later picked up by the bike rental shop. We also enjoyed a fishing charter, kayaking, and a trip into Charleston. Thank you for sharing your house with us - we look forward to a return trip soon!

great way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary

Katie, Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our week at the Isle of Palms. I have never stayed in a rental that was so well equipped as the house at 3800 Cameron Blvd. It was far above our expectations. We never ran out of dishes or utensils. It has every appliance that you can think of. The house was perfect for our family. The pool was bigger than we expected and was perfect for our pool games. The beach was just a short walk away and what was so surprising, was not crowded at all. The kids had a great time collecting shells and never experienced any problem with jellyfish. It was a great vacation and a great place to celebrate our 50th anniversary with the entire family. There was no hassle picking up the keys from Island Realty and any minor problems we had, they were there immediately. Thank you so much. PS the roof top open deck was amazing. Even though it was warm, there was a cool breeze in the evening. A perfect place to have our cocktails!!

Fantastic Family Vacation Home

This house suited our family of 12 perfectly. The kitchen had enough room that three people could participate in cooking meals. The main living area was perfect for family TV watching and puzzle construction as well as board games. The lower sitting area was great for those who wanted to read. And all of the balconies were super for watching the world go by. When the grandkids weren't at the beach or the pool, they were in the garage area shooting pool or playing table tennis. And the golf cart we rented was a bonus for my husband who has difficulty getting around ... as well as the youngsters who enjoyed seeing the back part of the island. We specifically rented a house with an elevator because of my husband's difficulty in walking so that was a plus. However, it didn't work for a day but the maintenance people were there quickly to get it back on track. Overall this was a super week to spend with children and grandchildren who live in South Carolina, Massachusetts and Colorado. Our only complaint was that the dishwasher did not clean very well. We had to make sure dishes were clean before we put them into the wash cycle. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Great location and fun for the whole family!

The rooftop was a family favorite with great views and breezes. Outdoor furniture is a bit worn but works. The interior was comfy and accommodating.

Indoor great, outdoor stuff needs updated

Indoor spaces very clean and comfortable. Outdoor deck accessible to all from main living room-kitchen area small - accommodated maybe 8. This outdoor deck furniture as well as that on rooftop & pool deck in pretty bad shape. Some outdoor furniture too unstable for use. Wood pool deck also in need to repair. Pool and ping pong tables in garage with minimal access to outdoor light or ventilation - unfortunate not really open to pool area. Beach wagon & house elevator both much appreciated. Walk to start of beach path very accessible - walk to water from there approximately 100 yards at low tide.

Disappointing

I booked this stay with bad weather in mind but loved the amenities that were listed online, none of which worked all pool sticks were broken/ no tip on them only one ping pong paddle, hot tub was broken for our entire stay which they were fully aware of before I booked so very false advertising, remotes didn’t have batteries in them had to buy batteries. There were multiple coackroaches through out the house by far the worst experience I have ever had while it’s my first time booking on vrbo I book all the time through (other services) and will be going back to (other services) we payed an extremely high premium for junk facilities. Very Very disappointed!

Great vacation home even this late in the year

We took a chance renting in November and loved it! Great location about a mile from wild dunes and only 2 blocks from the beach! The property was pretty clean with plenty of towels/linens and there was no shortage of seating, dish ware and great amenities. I would recommend this property and the managers to any others coming into the area. Thank you, Chad!

Great House/Relaxing Stay

This is the 5th year my family has rented a house in IOP. This is the best house so far! The rooftop deck offers stunning views. The house has a well stocked kitchen to allow for preparation of meals for the entire crowd. The hand cart allows for easy transportation of chairs and umbrellas to the beach. Large pool provides a place to cool down from a trip to the beach.

The perfect place for a beach reunion

Our group had a wonderful time at the house. It was perfect for a large group, and each bedroom having its own bath made washing up after the beach a breeze. The house was in great condition, and the little things at the house (kiddie pool/beach chairs and umbrella/ping pong set) made our experience even better. I would highly recommend this house for groups, especially those with young kids. We'll be back! Ryan

Great vacation house

This was a wonderful home. Our group had 6 children and 8 adults and we had plenty of space. The house was very clean and comfortable. The elevator was great for moving luggage and groceries up to the top floor. The only suggestion was we wished the living room had a little but more seating for our big group. We loved the pool and the roof top deck had a gorgeous view.

Lots of room & great layout! Beds are comfortable. AC doesn't keep level one cool enough.

We had a great time at this property. Our vacation included 6 adults and a baby. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare family dinners. Some properties say that, but then they have the bare minimum, but this beach house has absolutely everything!! It was well stocked with supplies as well. The AC didn't keep level 1, the level with 4 bedrooms cool. There was a bug temperature difference between levels 1 & 2. The ping pong and pool tables are pretty beaten up, no rubber left on the paddles. It was nice to have pool service while we were there, as we had thunderstorms at night. The filter broke on the pool so the guy had to clean it by hand. But we enjoyed the pool while we were there but not the hot tub. We will suggest Isle of Palms to others and recommend this home to other families.
