Welcome to High Life on IOP, a fun and comfortable studio at The Ocean Inn that makes it easy to settle into island life. Located just a short walk from the beach, this studio is a great fit for couples, friends traveling together, or a parent visiting the island with a teen or younger child.
The open layout makes the space feel more flexible than many people expect from a studio. A king bed anchors the room, while a sleeper sofa that was added in January 2026 provides additional sleeping space when needed. The layout works well for couples who want extra room to relax, friends sharing a beach trip, or a small family looking for an easy place to land after a day outside.
A skylight above brings in natural light and adds to the airy feel of the space during the day.
The kitchen is thoughtfully arranged with everything needed for simple meals during your stay. You will find a toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, regular toaster, and a single burner induction cooktop. Cookware and dishware are provided so you can prepare easy breakfasts or quick meals before heading back out to the beach or the island restaurants nearby.
The bathroom includes a clean tiled walk in shower and plenty of counter space for getting ready for the day or rinsing off after the beach.
One of the most fun features of this condo is the destination sticker wall. Guests from all over have left decals from their hometowns and travels over the years, creating a colorful little tradition inside the condo. If you happen to bring a sticker from home, feel free to add it and become part of the wall.
Just outside the condo you will find a small seating area for two where you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee or relax in the evening after a day on the beach.
The Ocean Inn complex includes a small private pool, two grill areas, free parking, and shared laundry facilities just steps away. Although the condo sits on a quieter side of the property, you are still only a short walk from the beach, restaurants, shops, and island nightlife.
Café Paname is right next door and is a favorite stop for coffee, fresh pastries, and sandwiches made by the owner who moved here from France. You are also just a short walk from local restaurants, beach bars, and the Windjammer where live music is played right on the beach.
If you decide to explore beyond the island, historic downtown Charleston is about a twenty five minute drive away and offers incredible restaurants, history, shopping, and architecture.

**MINIMUM BOOKING AGE is 25. The person holding the reservation must be staying at the property. No 3rd party booking is allowed.
**PRE-APPROVAL OF PETS REQUIRED Pets (DOGS ONLY) are allowed ONLY IN SELECT PROPERTIES. Breed/weight restrictions are applicable. PET FEES are $25/pet per night. DISCOUNT ON PET FEES AVAILABLE FOR SEASONAL RENTALS. PET POLICY Guests are responsible for adhering to pet policies provided in the contract as well as all Isle of Palms pet ordinances
**MINIMUM NIGHTS Some of our properties have "minimum nights required" to make a reservation on weekends, holidays, and during the summer season. To check availability for a shorter stay, please send a message / inquiry. If it's possible, we'd be happy to accommodate you.
** CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT: Your reservation is confirmed when the initial payment is paid. Payment options are dependent on the cancellation policy and how far away you are booking your stay. For reservations made in advance of 30 days, the remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. Balances are deducted automatically from the card on file. In the event of payment failure, a grace period of 24 hours is given to remedy the payment.
** ITEMS PROVIDED: Soaps, linens, towels and starter paper products will be in your condo upon arrival. Routine linen and towel exchanges are not provided during your stay. Guests are responsible for replacing their own paper and soap products if starter amounts are used during their stay. It is not necessary to replace these for future guests.
**SMOKING All of our properties are NO SMOKING properties. Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please discard appropriately. Deposit will be forfeited and additional cleaning charges incurred if evidence of smoking indoors is found upon departure. THIS INCLUDES smoking by an open door or window so that smoke enters the condo. Please smoke away from these areas.
**NOISE ORDINANCE Guests are responsible for following the Isle of Palms 10PM noise ordinance.
