We absolutely loved our stay! The home is beautiful, very spacious and was extremely clean. The pool was so nice to have and the porches were nice to sit out on at night. It is in walking distance to a lot of local restaurants and bars and to the beach. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great place

Greatest place for friends and families. Large kitchen and pool area. Good storage area for luggage in the basement. All the rooms are perfect for families.

Great house for groups!

We were a group of 13 and the house was a perfect size for us. Location was great and house was spotless when we arrived! The pool area and porch were so nice to have to relax and enjoy the weather. I will definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

We knew that it was going to be hard to find a place that was going to be able to accommodate a large group… The house acceded expectations!!! Close proximity to the golf course and walking distance to the nightlife. Everyone in our group was blown away with the pool and amenities the house had to offer! Place was clean and exactly what we were looking for!

Great house for extended family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Eleven members of extended family stayed for a week. The house is large with a nice sized pool. The house was clean with the beds made and towels provided. The house shows a some wear as one would expect but the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The lounge chairs around the pool could be better if cushioned but not a big deal. Island Realty provided a list of vendors that allowed us to rent golf carts, crib, toys, groceries, etc all of which were at the house when we arrived. We had beach chairs and umbrellas set up for us every day at the beach. The house is a block off the beach so if you are looking for ocean views this is not the right property. It is an easy walk to the beach and if you don’t feel like walking, you can park the golf cart next to the beach path. We spent mornings at the beach and afternoons at the pool. There is a great outdoor grill kitchen next to the pool with fridge and sink. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff at Island Realty were very helpful and friendly. We also hired a chef, Melinda Clark, recommended by a staff member, who made us a delicious special meal for my husband’s birthday.

The kitchen was well supplied and large enough for making big meals, there was an extra fridge in the pantry and the ice maker was a huge plus. The pool area and bedrooms were the perfect size for our group. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the furnishings were great. The parking was tight for our group (5 families) but we made it work. Great house.

It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was nice and updated, beds were comfortable, and everything was well kept. There were a few things that could be improved! 1. We were not left with the proper amount of bath towels to have 1 per person, the maintenance team quickly resolved this issue the next morning! 2. We had 16 people and the pool deck is a little cramped and the pool could have been cleaned better prior to arrival, but it was the perfect temperature and still enjoyed by everyone! 3. The dishwasher needed a deep clean, there was a strong smell coming from the dishwasher from the first day, and dishwasher/laundry detergent was not provided 4. There was not enough silverware in the house for 16 people, we brought our own plastic silverware to account for this! 5. pool towels are not provided so be sure to bring your own! Lastly, there is some general wear and tear on a lot of the furniture, walls, etc. which is to be expected on a rental. Most of our time was spent enjoying outside so this was not an issue!! Overall it was a great stay. While we were disappointed we could not get an early check in, were were still able to get into the unit earlier than 4 PM and the office graciously let us store our bags there while we waited! The location and space could not be beat. The concierge services always replied quickly to questions/concerns and after hours there is a phone number to use if needed! Would recommend Island Realty to anyone visiting!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was the perfect size for my party of 12. The location and access was perfect. All the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was undergoing routine maintenance at the time of our visit. However, the pool was mostly cloudy the entire time we were there and we barely used the pool. The only downsides I would recommend giving more attention to is the housekeeping. The main living room and kitchen floors were not very clean and need a deep cleaning. The ice maker was nice; however, guests noticed their was mold forming near the filter and it was obvious it needed a cleaning. One guest stated there was dried ice cream left on the ice cream scooper and a few other utensils that had to be cleaned before use. The overall bathrooms were spacious; however, the water flow in some of the sinks was not great. Specifically in the front master bedroom on the left sink. The bath areas could use some updating and more life to fit the rest of the house's décor style. Overall, I would definitely stay in this house. The parking area was spacious for all vehicles and we loved the house was located close to beach access, Harris Teeter and other local convenience stores.
