“This is an idyllic home on the marsh and water. My favorite parts are the deck on the front with comfortable chairs and great views. I also loved how the host is so nice and responds so quickly. There is a lovely beach that is a short walk away and the owner has provided access courtesy of the hosts. My children were able to play in the water on a hot day and beachcombing for shells. You do need water shoes for sure and bug spray is a must for outside activities as well. Watch out for poison……

“Unless you’re paying 1k a night this gets you close to the ocean without the amenities. Good choice for a large family just expect the added people fees. Great access and parking to the beach! The experience could have been better as the lights in the main room are confusing that we never actually got them to turn on so we used the lamps. The television is nice and big but thinking the remote was dead lead to getting new batteries and still no luck, until I was told to unplug and replug in the……

“We had an amazing stay! This house is perfect for a family with kids. We loved the cozy house and enjoyed the location. It allowed up to walk around Yorktown. Our kids brought their bikes and were able to bike everywhere. The host were great very promoted. The house was super clean. ”
