Great hotel in Taksim Square
CVK Taksim Hotel is right in the centre of Taksim Square, great location. We went in a hot July season. The hotel is in great condition, room was modern and clean, air conditioning was great. Daily cleaning was great. Metro and bus stops are all nearby and walking distance.

Location is great. However staff needed to be trained to accommodate foreign visitors better. They don’t use “Please” when you suppose to follow direction. Odd. But a bit cultural shock! I’ve felt due to language barrier they do have an unfriendly tone of voice and get upset so quick. They offer luxury transportation from Airport to the hotel for 80 Euros that you can go with taxi at 1/4 of the price while there is no luxury service associated with it. The car just a big van with fancy lighting. The driver even don’t help you to take your stuff to the entry of the airport. They just drop you off and give your luggage and bye bye. I felt its a rip off. Staff are friendly. Location was great. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Location is the key.

The location is arguably the best and the staff is a standout! Ayoub at reception was particularly helpful and friendly. The concierge staff also offered great assistance in booking transport, and taking care of the luggages, including loading in the vehicle. We had a great stay and will be back whenever we are in Istanbul - our gateway to Europe.
