“Host owns a pharmacy on the first floor of the building and met us when we arrived and waited for our very late driver when we left. He responded quickly when contacted.Be aware, there is no elevator in this building if climbing stairs is an issue for you. The building is located right at the top of the Ramondo stairs and just down the hill from the Galata Tower which is an awesome location for exploring. Drivers do seem to have a problem locating the exact site and always want to pickup and……

“Was unable to establish communication with the host on the day of check-in, kept trying the next day, the host ghosted me for 8 hours while I waited. Ignore dozens of phone calls from me as well. Finally got connected thanks to VRBO support and host informed me that since I wasn't able to get into the property on the first day that they can just keep my money and rent it out to someone else if they want.”

“The apartment was very nice, clean, and the terrace was very charming. It is a little noisy, as one side faces the road and another side faces a university, but it didn’t bother us much. The host was communicative and responded fast when we needed. The only thing we didn’t like was the neighborhood, but it is safe and 10 minutes drive to everything in Istanbul. We would recommend the place to other guests.”

“Here's information re: concerns regarding this home and its management.This was where we stayed for a family reunion during August 2025. Regarding issues with the home itself, there are a few areas of shoddy construction--baseboards with simple nails that fall away from the wall (kitchen and living room were two notable examples); screens for doors and windows which easily break--which would be forgiven in an otherwise uneventful stay.Unfortunately the property owner did not prove to be……
