Death and no help from Expedia nor Las Brisas. The ugly: It appears neither Expedia nor Las Brisas have a written policy for when a death occurs mid-trip. The policy seems to be lie or don’t respond. I’m sure deaths have happened before, so this is not new. A written clear policy that is available to travelers using the hotel or Expedia should be created. The Bad: there are a LOT of stairs. Believe them in the hotel write up. There was literally no way to get to a restaurant nor the beach without stairs. The lobby bar opened at 4:00 p.m. so if a person can’t do stairs to get to a bar, you go thirsty until 4:00. There is no entertainment, not even a piano player. No gluten free options at the beach bar. Margaretas are different here. Don’t expect a traditional lovely PV margareta. The good: room was great, balcony even better, full sliding doors open to the deck which has a hammock. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of pressure and hot water in the shower. The buffets were very basic but the food I could have (GF) was tasty. The grounds were lovely and very lush. Enjoyed the adult pool. Overall a good hotel, we just had a bad experience and received no support. Both Expedia and Las Brisas should have written refund policies for a death during a trip.

The room was quite nice and clean. Beautiful view of the water. They have elevators. The front desk staff needs to have some training on how to recognize when someone comes to the desk and not to make a reservation on the phone when people are waiting to check in. We did have interaction with the front desk manager who was very helpful and pleasant. The concierge was not helpful at all.

Todo esta muy bien. Tome el plan europeo y lo recomiendo porque los restaurantes de especialidad y la atención en la playa estuvo perfecto y no se incluyen en el paquete todo incluido. La habitación limpia, amplia y camas super agusto. El aire acondicionado no es ruidoso. La atención del personal excelente. La playa privada con agua rica y arena bonita. Todo 10/10.

The property is a little tired. The pool is in need of repair. Room was cleaned well but beds are a little soft. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The bar area is lovely and provides a fantastic view for evening sunset. Breakfast was basic, the “sausage” was basically cut up hot dogs, never any bacon. The resort itself is quiet with minimal entertainment on Friday nights only. We enjoyed the speciality restaurants.

Great views. Friendly staff. Very dangerous paths and steps. Extremely dangerous ocean waves.Small pools - adults one shaded. Extremely watered down drinks. You have to sign for every single meal drink or snack.A/c didnt work. Balcony didnt lock. 1 water and nothing in minifridge despite paying thousands extra for all inclusive.

The beach is stunning! The rest of the resort was very dated although I will say they kept the rooms clean. Lots of stairs which was ok if you are young. Not easily walkable go shopping. The Italian restaurant was exceptional. I booked this thinking it was 4 star and I would say it is 3 at most

Older property but had a good one night stay. Loved the coffee shop ( called miscellaneous), great food, service and coffee. Loved sitting in the lobby bar when it was closed , such a nice breeze and very peaceful while we waited to go to the airport. Dinner was not great, ate at Bella vista, fish tacos were really basic and bland. Service was good though. Beach was really nice. Pool area was ok. Lots of kids and families. Adult only pool had loud, annoying people in it. Hallways are kinda sketchy but the room itself was nice with fantastic view and great AC. Bed was comfy but pillows were too puffy. Shower was great but no fan in bathroom was kinda weird. Valet guys were great and got us taxi’s super fast.
