“Doc's Cabin is a beautiful oasis in southern Illinois! My husband and I had an amazing time catching some bluegills and bass, sitting out on the deck and enjoying the beautiful views! We checked out a few local restaurants and wineries and loved the town! We hope to come back soon when the weather is cool so we can take advantage of the hot tub and fire pit!!! “It was a very clean and a wonderful place to stay! We didn't have any pets although it was pet friendly you never would have known any pets had ever been there. Wish we could have stayed longer!! The host was wonderful to work with!”

“Wonderful little cabin to get away from everything and just relax. Loved the screened in back porch. We were able to sit outside while it was raining and enjoy our breakfast. Dead end road so very minimal traffic.”

The only thing we didn’t have was aluminum foil, but you had some really cool bowls that I fix some mushrooms and onions and a baked potato to go with our steaks. “My dog and I stayed 2 nights for a visit with family in the area. The yard is nice for pets, the deck has gates to keep pets or children in part of it, there's plenty of seating outside to sit for morning coffee or in the evening plus a small firepit with a couple of seats. My dog was not crazy about the spiral staircase but he is a little anxious at times so I carried him up for bed then we were able to go out on the patio and down the wooden staircase in the morning. Location is nice and……
