“Our stay on the lake was just perfect! We have a 12 year old and a 14 year and we all had the best time! The house was so spacious, a beautiful view of the lake, and perfect location. We went to Snow Island @ Margaritaville (about 15 minutes away) , spent an evening in downtown Dahlonega (about an hour away), and went on a self-directed tour of film locations of Stranger Things (about an hour away). “We enjoyed our stay in this home in Athens. It was clean and had plenty of space inside for sleeping - 3 bedrooms with double beds. The two bathrooms were a little small, but they worked for our short stay in Athens. We had lots of parking space for cars and tailgating. A nice size yard for the kids to run around and a pet to have space to walk around. A nice kitchen and a table for meals. There is also a nice front porch where you can sit and read, relax or tailgate! It's located above Athens……

“Mark and Regina were so kind and made our trip a great experience. They were helpful with recommendations and their place is super comfortable. It was easy to feel at home there and settle in even just for a few days. They are also easy to reach with questions/travel updates as we planned the trip and always responsive and kind. If we are ever back in Athens we will definitely try to stay here again! And a final note- it was too chilly most days for us, but the neighborhood is convenient but……
