Great place for quiet getaway
Cottage was great; just as described. Spent a long weekend with my college-age daughter, plenty of space. It had everything we needed. We walked to beach (it took about 15 minutes) and that beach was awesome. Hosts were fantastic. If we come to the area again, we would definitely hope to stay here.

Wonderful getaway
We arrived very early (2:00am) and the hosts greeted us. They even provided homemade cookies, banana bread and a pitcher of apple juice because they thought we might be hungry after our long travel day. It was a great space and close to where we needed to be and the beach. We had a great time.

Awesome mini getaway
My husband, son and I drove in from Michigan for Thanksgiving we arrived early and Larry was able to let us check in right away. Millie was so thoughtful to make us some banana bread and have some cider ready for us when we arrived. The place was so cute, Very clean and had basically everything we needed for our stay! perfect size for just the 3 of us.. The area was nice and very close to the beach.. They were very accommodating and even gave us a late check out because they knew we had a long drive ahead of us. I would most definitely recommend this place! We already plan on coming back 😊

Surgery at Mayo
This was the best place for my husband and I after surgery at Mayo. The place is so clean! The owners Larry and his wife Millie were just awesome above and beyond what we would have expected! So quiet and relaxing. It’s so close to beach and they had chairs and about anything else you need! We will be back in November and hopefully more in the future!!!

Thanks for your comments. We are planning to update the property in the near future. New chairs are a great idea. I'm looking at much softer dining chairs, probably with rollers. Best Weekend Getaway
This place has everything you need and more. It is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood and is centrally located to all your wants and needs. The beach is a couple minutes away and is located near some awesome restaurants with music. We definitely want to reserve this getaway bungalow again!!

Great place at the beach!

Perfect Beach Cottage
We were in town for a reunion and wanted to stay at the beach. What a perfect little gem, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. It was close to the beach and nearby eateries. We were met by Larry and Millie to point out some of the features of the cottage. Larry was so easy to communicate with prior to arrival. We didn’t eat there but it was set up for meal prep if you needed to. Would definitely stay there again.

We would stay again. Although it has a bedroom, there is no bedroom door to separate the rooms. It would have been a plus to have a bedroom door for noise and privacy.

My wife and I enjoyed our time. Everything was as expected. We attended a wedding and this was a perfect location. Celebrating our anniversary also. Took a short trip via Mayport Ferry to Fernandina Beach. We will stay here again for sure.

Quiet, clean & convenient
Well-furnished private accommodations that met all our needs as a base for daily explorations of the JAX Beach area, from Amelia Island to St. Augustine. Our host, Larry, was very friendly. Very clean; quiet neighborhood; easy access to highways & shops/restaurants. We hope to stay there again on our next visit.

Perfect for my purpose
Was here for 3 day work course and was perfect for being able to walk places without a car including the beach and a quick 30 minute Uber ride from the airport. Larry was friendly and helpful upon arrival. Place had everything I needed and bed was comfortable!

This cute little cottage has everything you could ever want. The cottage itself is welcoming and cozy. Larry and his lovely wife have supplied it with literally everything you could need. The best part is how close it is to the beach and restaurants. I would love to stay here again.

Charming little cottage, close to everything!
Charming little cottage great for couples or a small family. The owners were very accommodating and friendly making us feel right at home. It’s very close to everything. We enjoyed outings to St Augustine, Talbot & Amelia Isands and downtown Jax. The beach is just a few blocks away and so are many restaurants. The owners were helpful with answering questions and giving suggestions for attractions and restaurants. We even had a visit from the Easter bunny who left a wonderful basket of goodies outside our front door! We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome vacation
This cozy comfy cottage is well located and equipped with every essential no need to over pack chairs or toys etc.Just get a 12.00 sand bucket call it the day. If you want more entertainment for the family just have peaceful drive thru the scenic road towards St. Augustine their are trolley tour if don't want to walk to much and learn some history. But you want more you can visit the distillery with free samples, the winery free samples too, tobacco factory or the chocolate factory. Restaurant, Ice cream shops and Bars for all taste. And the owners very nice, we felt welcome. Definitely I will book again with them. The only minor thing If you need to due laundry you have to search for a coin laundry. If you don't the place is perfect. Thanks for everything.

We spent 5 days here and found it comfortable, clean and convenient to all the beaches. As others mentioned, Larry is never intrusive but always available. We didn't spend much time relaxing at the cottage due to business, but when we were there it was very nice; very quiet and private. The HomeAway system for booking and payments worked well. We would definitely recommend this cottage to other guests!

Cozy little cottage perfectly located!
We spent a month in this cozy little cottage. It has about anything anyone could want as a home away from home. Great amenities, including a gas grill! Five blocks from Jacksonville Beach plus minutes from great restaurants and attractions. Yet away from the hustle and bustle of the beach area itself. It's a quiet haven! The owners are friendly but don't intrude and made us feel most welcome. We hope to go back in the near future.

Great Location Near the Beach.
The owners were wonderful and did everything they could to make my stay great! The cottage is comfortable and I had everything I needed. The bed is very comfortable. They even put a wagon together for us with chairs and blankets for the beach so we could enjoy the Blue Angels. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone staying at least 3 weeks.

Quaint cottage
My daughter & I stayed here while in town for a wedding. Larry is absolutely fabulous! Even though we didn't spend much time at the cottage because of wedding stuff we really enjoyed the place. We would highly recommend staying here & would stay here again ourselves. Perfect location, close to the beaches, shopping & restaurants. Nice little get-a-way!
