Jacksonville Trip

Great retreat for the family and dogs while wife was visiting the Mayo Clinic which is about 20 minutes away & 30 minutes from Airport.Great water views and you could fish right from the huge backyard and beautiful large covered dock.

The property is as cool as it looks

The place was clean and comfortable. The real star is the property. The view from the deck is stunning, and the covered dock is a very cool place. An enclave of tranquility. Neighborhood is solid and the rental team was excellent. My only disappointment was the home was listed with a hot tub and without notice, the tub was removed. It broke and that's understandable, but I wish they told me ahead of time. They refunded some of the rent upon request. Overall, I highly recommend this home.

Peaceful, RELAXING retreat with lots of games!

This home had a great location with privacy, and many vantage points to view the beautiful natural surroundings. Plenty of things to do on site, including many games (pleasantly surprised to find corn hole boards and bags in the chest outside, but be aware that the pool table is not full-size, but still usable). Mostly enjoyed just sitting on the covered dock or patio and looking at the scenery and birds; even saw a huge owl, and some dolphins in the water nearby! Definitely worth coming back again.

Thanksgiving At Mayport

We had a family Thanksgiving on base. It was literally a one left turn and a straight shot to the gate. The house was clean and exactly as the pictures portrayed. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept in VRBO rentals. The property was perfect! So much time spent watching the wildlife in the marsh and ships passing through the canals. It was a wonder to watch a cruise ship pass, basically a New York city block floating by. My dog completely enjoyed the yard. He stays close to my side but if he didn't, the security of the fence was comforting. My son and his family, my neice and her family came over to visit my last night, the weather turned cool so we really enjoyed the use of the fire pit. A perfect ending to a wonderful stay. Will definitely stay again if my family continues to be stationed there.

Great house, amazing location

If your family likes fishing,this is the place for you. The house itself is awesome and has everything you need. The views out the windows are amazing. There is good yard space for kids and is fenced in perfectly yielding perfect side yards. The location is great. Close to the interstate, and there are tons of food options near in a nice quiet neighborhood. But the fishing is amazing. There are 2 docks that allow amazing fishing on 2 different sides of the creek. Fishing on both docks is awesome. Bring a cast net and catch your own bait. Overall the experience was awesome and we will definitely be back
