The desk clerk was very helpful when I checked in, giving me a room on the first floor, near an outside entrance. The room was clean and bed comfortable. So why the "poor" rating?
Checked in on Saturday, used the toilet and it flowed slowly, reported this to the staff Sunday morning. Returned Sunday night, nothing had been done. Reported it again (Sunday was Mothers' Day, maybe no staff)-now it is not flowing at all. Reminded them Monday morning!! Returned Monday night, no change. I got a little hostile and demanded a plunger, which they found so I could fix the problem myself! Which I did in under ten minutes. Although I had reservations through Wednesday, I left on Tuesday and did not return.
Also Monday night there was a fair amount of noise in the room next to mine, so I left at 4 AM Tuesday.
