“Fabulous resort with excellent amenities and helpful staff. Spectacular views, but the beach was average. The restaurant options were very high cost for the region, and we felt like we were being taken advantage of. The Casa Del Cafe had some really nice food and coffee at a more reasonable price.”

“We stayed at the Marala Hotel for the last two nights of our Costa Rica vacation, and our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been treated so kindly at a hotel—it felt more like staying with distant family than at a resort.

“Everyone was so helpful. They let us write to the place we were staying. It was a little difficult to find the office when you see the physical sign walk up the path and you’ll see it right there. It was noted. We just didn’t know what we were looking for, but a sweet gentleman came out and found us and let us where we needed to be. Breakfast was very good as was the coffee.
