“It was like home away from home ”

“The photos on the internet don’t do this place justice. It’s much larger than I thought, and our villa was nicer than expected. The facilities and staff are top notch. The food was a bit mixed, some good, most mediocre, and some not so good. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly underwhelming - it’s very large but it’s mostly just pastries and fruit. There’s very little of anything substantial. It’s basically an insanely expensive continental breakfast. Luckily, it was included with our……

“Property was beautiful and the people were unbelievably kind and helpful. Food was great, breakfast was provided. Views of the Pitons were amazing. Took off one star because the mosquitos in the room were relentless even with the mosquito net and provided bug zapper, which made it impossible to rest. It is an open air concept hotel but would’ve appreciated at least the wooden flooring beneath the bed and bedroom to be sealed off from mosquitos.”

“This place was absolutely perfect! The location is amazing. The staff are all super friendly, helpful, and greet you with a smile every time they see you. The rooms are well-kept and have a great kitchenette that is fully stocked. I look forward to returning to the island, and when we do, this will be the only place we stay.”

“My husband and I stayed in the Romantic Room with an unbeatable view of the Petit Piton. The small plunge pool in our room was also nice. The only drawback to this property is the food. Breakfast is included but is nothing special. We had lunch and dinner once at the hotel. Prices are steep for what you get in terms of quantity. The staff was very kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the excursions we booked through the hotel. Despite the lackluster food, we would stay here again.”

“The location of the vacation club is ideal and overlooks Marigot Bay with a unique little cable funicular from Doolittles restaurant at sea level up to the villas. The pool, whilst small, is very clean with a great view.”

“I loved the view from the room, beautiful, and the personal balcony with the hammock. The room could've used a deep clean, but pretty clean to the naked eye. Casey was helpful, and ran me down to the store for there isn't any food close. The suites sits on very steep hills, so the use of a taxi is crucial. Their sign inside the suite says housekeeping everyday, but only received towels, and clean dishes 2x's out of 5 day stay. The numbers listed are not helpful when trying to reach someone, ……

“If you want water AVOID THIS PROPERTY! We were there 8 days, 4 of which there was no water for several hours. Apparently this is very common, the housekeeping lady asked if we wanted buckets of water to fill the toilet. Even when the water was "fixed" it was the slowest trickle. The toilet took 15 minutes to fill after flushing and the shower was a total joke, our relatives in the next room couldn't even wash their hair. The outside shower never worked and the rooms are band aided together.……

“I absolutely loved this resort. It gave such a “ at home” feeling. Stayed in chestnut room 1 which had a perfect view along with a huge patio and hammock to sleep on. The room Was clean and spacious they decorated It for my birthday. Staff was very friendly and informative. Now this resort is very quiet and not a turn up spot so It was perfect for going out to party/do excursions and come back to get all the rest needed. The infinity pool was amazing. “Room with balconies was beautiful with a beautiful view of ocean. Lorraine (the owner) went above and beyond, driving us to a restaurant and taking us on a tour. She is a very sweet lovely lady, and provided coffee and treats. ”

“We had one day to stay at this location so given the pics, we felt this was a good fit. It is a 1/2 hour from the airport but that's about the best thing. When we got there, the place was empty and that was fine. We were past prime season, but the 6 cats and the smell of cat urine was too much. The views were great from the bar and patio, the rooms very average with one that reeked of cat pee. We took our losses and left. We did not stay overnight as it was just too smelly. The one beer……

“Great experience. Spent 2 nights before Christmas, the steak and pork rib in The Cove was one of the best on the island, the drink, cocktails and wine offered in bars were also amazing. All staff were attentive, even though sometimes was a bit slow when many customers came. The new Asian style restaurant charged us certain amount which we didn’t order, the staff explained that was a mistake due system error. There might still be some thing can be improved.”

“The property is across the road from the water Falls. The pool is nice and picturesque. I recommend bringing food or going shopping as nothing is near by.”
