Laurel James Branch Nature Preserve Hotels

"We have stayed at well over 10 different hotels in Ocean City. Hands-down, this is my favorite. I’m sorry it took me so long to stay there. The rooms are outstanding, very spacious and perfect for a family vacation. The pool is large enough where you don’t feel like everybody is on top of each other. I appreciated the tiki bar adjacent to the pool. Having a spa in house is also wonderful. I loved my facial. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, which is very convenient although there is Keurig coffee pot within the room. I know this is a small thing, but I really appreciated the amount of storage in the bathroom. For those of us who travel with children, we know that comes with a lot of toiletries and it was nice to have a spot for everything. Plenty of cabinet space to put clothes away. Having a full-size refrigerator was a great plus. I can honestly say the only thing that was challenging was their shower curtains. We had a hard time getting them to remain closed to allow to prevent water from getting on the floor. This hotel is oceanfront. Although our room was a partial ocean view, it still very nice. I i’m looking forward to our next day. I recommend this resort without reservation."

"The Hotel is beautiful, room comfortable. The only bad thing I can say is that the Hotel should set up hours limit for noise. I stayed on the 1st room left side front desk on the 1st floor. On Saturday It was like 20 people on the lobby like celebrating a birthday, talking loudly, screaming until 3:00 a.m. So, I was not able to sleep until that time. Horrible!"

"I checked in on Friday evening no problems I five FRONT desk staff 5 stars they were very friendly and helpful and all times. Housekeeping was very rude my room had a old liquor bottle behind the bed the dresser had sticky stuff on the doors of the dresser drawers I can see how they missed that juice on the wall under the desk mattress was very uncomfortable you can tell it’s old and worn out bleed on the bathroom light switch.pool area and gym could use a little upgrade but for the most part my stay was pretty okay "

"It was ok. We had 3 pillows on our bed. Just enough for my fiancé so I called the front desk for 2 pillows. They responded saying they would bring some up. We fell asleep with what we had after traveling. I woke up to find texts 1 1/2 hours after my initial request. They knocked and left. The room was clean with a better than average continental breakfast. Later in the stay, their coffee maker was out of order so they had Dunkin’ Donuts coffee instead. "

"Staff refused to deal with screaming kids and loud music in room next to us. Said they would send security to speak with them, but nothing changed. Finally quieted down at 4am. No hot tub, no pool. The whole reason we booked this hotel was for the hot tub. Waste of time amd money. They said it was broken, but i believe they shut it down due to the large youth event they jad going on. Will not go there again."
