Excellent time away

Had a wonderful stay. The rooms are really nice, kitchen is well stocked, and the basement game area was a blast. The outdoor fire pit was the highlight making for enjoyable long lasting memories. Highly recommend, I look forward to coming back again!

House was in a great location, near to pretty much everything. Well appointed, had everything you needed and then some. The outdoor space is where we lived, it was amazing!!! Owner checked in with us on arrival and was good at responding to our questions im a timely fashion. Woul definitely return. Thank you!

Spacious and secluded!

Our hosts were kind and accommodating, and the cabin was even better than expected! Our family had a wonderful time and even with 12 adults there was more than enough room! All of the amenities were excellent, we're planning to make this our new yearly retreat option!

Fun place to stay!

Great place! Clean, almost everything was provided in the house including sheets and towels. Game room in the basement was an extra plus. The kids had a blast! Outside fireplace was awesome. Even though it was cold outside, the fireplace made it very comfortable Loved Raystown Roost! Easy checkin and check out. Host was readily available if needed.

This house was as spacious as advertised. Many hang-out areas to accommodate everyone on a rainy day. The picture of the front of the house does not adequately showcase the large windows in the back!

Family Time Fun & Games

The property was perfect for our family celebration of my teenage daughter’s birthday. We were able to cook breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for the whole family. Sleeping accommodations were perfect and satisfied everyone’s needs. We will definitely have his property on our list to visit again.

Roost Review

Everything the Roost had to offer was great. We enjoyed the shuffle board and outdoor fireplace. Rooms and kitchen were clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend the Roost to other people and would stay again when I'm back in the area.

Beautiful cabin in a remote location

We were here for a bachelorette party and had a wonderful time! The location was beautiful and private, but I will say that it was helpful to have four-wheel drive because of the gravel roads and steep grade. The cabin itself was perfect for what we needed.... everything was very clean and all the beds were comfy.

Lake retreat

This was our second visit here and we will definitely be back! The house is comfortable and clean and everyone can have their own space. The amenities are plentiful, including the games, videos and kitchen. We had one small problem and the owner was quick to respond to answer our question. The area is quiet and friendly.

Beautiful home- we would definitely rent again! House was immaculate and comfortable. We did not tow our boat up to property we used recommended offsite parking which was very convenient to house and lake. Highly recommend renting this house!

Mountain vacation

The Raystown roost is a beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally clean house. We were a group of 10 of three generations who had more than enough room to be together or go to separate areas. The bonus for the kids (young & old) was the downstairs game room! Also, the owner is very responsive. This is a great place to relax or enjoy the sights.
