“To start, the location was in a very rough neighborhood with a lot of homeless people around the house. We did not feel safe even during the day. Property needs a big renovation as the pictures do not represent reality. Things are falling apart. Rugs and couch were stained and dirty. No utensils, plates, cups and silverware. The ones that was there was broken or dirty. They mentioned a pool in the description but I am pretty sure that no one would be able to enter on it as it seemed to be a……

“This was the worst experience I have ever had with a host. The listing omitted important information, and when serious issues arose, the host completely failed to provide any assistance or solution. First of all, the property is located in a very unsafe area. The rear side of the property was especially concerning and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. This was not accurately represented in the listing. Before my arrival, the host contacted me to ask what time I would be checking……

“Had a wonderful time here. The house was sparkling clean. Communicating with the owner was easy and friendly. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was really appreciated that linens and towels were provided. ”

“Property sent message asking for incidental deposit (that was never on the listing). The message asked me to send money to a CashApp account or a Zelle account. The CashApp account was provided but the Zelle account was only given a weird account name (—-@——-). When I tried to transfer with CashApp I received a msg saying this account looked like scam. I wrote back to the property asking for the Zelle account. The property never provided me that information. Instead they asked me to call a phone……

“Location had nearby subway access, and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within a short walk. Check-in process was a breeze, and the room was cozy without being cramped. Weekend nightlife and elevated train did get noisy, but didn't run super late. Earplugs helped.”

“The property was nice and was perfect for a couple night stay. Only issue is that you could hear pretty much everything outside: cars driving by with loud music playing, construction workers doing work in the middle of the night,etc. I understand this is not something the host can control, but something to consider when booking. ”
