「Back for a second year. The property is a beautiful house in North Durban, near a small shopping area. My bedroom was very large and well-appointed, with a large bathroom attached. This year, things are not quite as new and well-maintained as last year. I enjoyed meeting other Comrades runners staying at the house, this year including elites. The best thing about this house is the housekeeper Nklaka, who is unbelievably friendly, caring and efficient.」

「Our best stay in South Africa by far. We stayed for 6 days. So sad to leave. Sandy looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Our spacious room opened onto a terrace overlooking a beautiful pool and garden area. A great breakfast. Staff were excellent always smiling, in a great leafy quiet residential area and only a 5 minute walk to many shops and restaurants. We will be back when we return to South Africa 」

「Stay was good. Shower 🚿 head needs some attention. Leaking. Mattress needs to be changed slowly caving in in the centre. Sleeper couch mattress is horrendous. Sleeper couch was grubby. Needs a good clean. Overall the place was spotlessly clean. Came across 1 cockroach. Pool was good. Cleaning staff and security are very pleasant. Front desk not sufficiently manned. 」
