「By far my favorite rental we have ever stayed in. Both the house and the boathouse were clean and beautifully furnished. The dock was easy to navigate with a boat, and the view from the front porch was stunning. The island was very quiet and peaceful, with lots of wildlife all around. The house was well furnished and stocked, but you will need to bring your own shower toiletries. Boat rentals are available from Clayton Marina and include a free slip and a parking spot for trips into town. 」

「We had a wonderful time at Sunset Cottage! The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed, and the grounds and scenery/views are great! We appreciated the kayaks that were available for our use and the ability to dock our pontoon boat so conveniently. Keith and his wife are fantastic hosts! It is clear that they truly care about the property and the comfort and happiness of their guests. We would stay here again and recommend to others. 」

「The area had a beautiful view of Lake Ontario. The fishing was great with a boat launch really close. When the wind was out of the west there were a number of boat launch ramps within a few miles. The area was really nice for relaxing and enjoying the quiet. We will be back again.」

「Check in was a breeze. My grands loved watching the boats on the river. Dogs roamed the fenced yard. Perfect deck for family dinners, game night and wine with a beautiful sunset. We loved it here! 」

「The house was neat and clean. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the area. The view of the river was everything I hoped for. Chelsea was very helpful. We will definitely be back.」

Very clean, homely and had everything that you would need and more (including things that you may have forgotten).Full instructions on how to use things were included. Although at this point there is no WiFi, Kevin immediately responded to text messages and facilitated access from his own, at his house. Easy to find, great location and a definite place to revisit. Thank you Kevin for making us so welcome. 」

「Check in was fine, easy. Kitchen was lacking in some basics - example only one bowl, no wine glasses. Biggest issue was the master bath, very damp so towels never felt dry. Bed was uncomfortable downstairs as well. Was annoying that couldn’t control temperature yourself.Positives were the location was good, setting was beautiful and the upstairs was great for kids.」
