Family friendly mountain getaway

--Enjoy the amazing views and peace and quiet in this new build mountain home. Great for hosting multiple families or friends. Large outdoor deck and living space to enjoy the amazing views of the Continental Divide and surrounding mountains. Located on 6 acres of wooded property with plenty of wildlife viewing.

Lots of recreational activities in the surrounding area including fishing, hiking, or our on-property disc golf course. We also have mini basketball, ping pong and shuffle board in the basement. Less than 10 minutes away from Tarryall Reservoir where you can fish or watch wildlife.
--note that basement will be fully finished March 2025---

Disclosure: three easily visible external security cameras for safety and maintenance purposes due to the remote nature of the property.

Peaceful and perfect

This cabin was incredible! Peaceful, quiet location and had everything we needed. The mountain views were amazing! It is a decent drive away from groceries and towns but that was part of the charm for us! Roads were easy to navigate but not a lot of cell service (again, a perk for our "offline" trip!- wifi worked fine though!) Perfect for families with kids of all ages. It was very clean and communication with the host was great. She even gave us some helpful information to prepare us for bears that had been seen nearby. Would recommend this place to anyone needing a relaxing family trip!

Awesome mountain getaway

Its a beautiful drive to the home. The area is very very quiet. There is a lot for kids: of course tv, outaide the home, and theres a large cabinet with loads of board games. There a lot of sleep space and the home is very very clean. The night time view of the sky is incredible. We stayed a few places in Jefferson and and this is one of the best for the family.

Amazing getaway off the beaten path

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was a family trip with three teenagers. The main floor is very spacious with a variety of games to play. The basement was a huge hit with the kids and adults alike. The table tennis, video games and shuffleboard were all a ton of fun. One day we took a quick trip to Buena Vista and enjoyed the sites and shopping there and then returned to our home away from home to make dinner and relax for the evening. We made good use of the grill on the wraparound deck, which is a great place to relax. The master bed is very comfortable which we always appreciate when traveling. In the mornings , our whole family enjoyed putting out the birdfeeders provided by the hosts and watching the birds come to feast. Lastly, we really appreciated how the kitchen was stocked with the condiments and seasonings you typically need while eating away from home. We hope to be back at some point in the future.

Stocked cabin with a view

We stayed with 3 adults, a teenager and two 9-year olds. The Mountain Views, the privacy and the luxurious mountain home were exactly what we were looking for. Drinking coffee in fresh mountain air overlooking the mountains, watching birds and wildlife was therapy! Tarryall reservoir just down the street provided fishing experiences for our fishermen. We did day tours to various destinations. The communication with the owner was instant, friendly and effective. The house featured a game room and a Ron of games for entertainment and we hiked from the cabin! Highly recommend this vacation home.

Fantastic getaway

Amazing deck and view! Great place for a family or group, especially if you have kids to entertain. Very clean and safe. One of the few that is absolutely worth the price.

Great Family Cabin

Our family and friends had a great time here! The view of the mountains from inside the cabin and out are spectacular! The adults had a great time hanging out and staring out the windows, while the kids had a blast in the basement "game room." I highly recommend this cabin for an adult getaway, or for a family-friendly vacation. We are looking forward to staying here again next year.

Wonderful house. It had everything for all ages. It had puzzles, games, pingpong, toys for the small kids (3,4,5 & 6), and toys for the big kids (35,36,38,39,60,71,& 87) The house was very clean, a very well stocked kitchen. I would stay there again!!!

Great Place

We had 4 families with lots of kids 4 and under. We all had a great time. There were lots of kids toys, board games, books, dvds/bluerays. I personally really liked the 20ish disk golf disks and the 7ish disk golf baskets around the property. The slack line was also a lot of fun. Overall we loved the place and are planning on trying to do the trip at this same place next year.

Absolutely amazing!!!!

This was by far the best place we ever stayed! They made sure it was stocked with snacks and necessities. Had so many things to do inside! Gorgeous home!!! We couldn't be happier with our stay!!!!!
