Stayed three nights, left one night early
The description did not match the property. Privacy was a concern-wall was blocked with boxes showing light that appeared to come from tenant below. Fire pit and property was poorly kept. Bed was comfortable and was satisfactory for our limited time in the rental.

Very peaceful and serene
We had the opportunity to pick fruit from the apple, peaches, pear trees on property. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the country, and the home was welcoming. Did not need for anything. Mike and Pam was there when you needed them.

Malabar Peach Orchard
Beautiful property. Very peaceful. A good spot for an artist retreat for me. My husband joined me on the weekend. Our dog was welcome. Cozy and laid back. Good working kitchen and bathroom. Close to Malabar farm. The restaurant has a pet friendly patio and exceptional food for the price. A lovely stay for my retreat.

Wonderful and peacful.
We enjoyed our fall stay at the Malabar Orchard. Our dogs were in 7th heaven with all the space to run around and explore, find a few moles. We also enjoyed walking the orchard and down around the lake. Having a few bon fires and a little corn hole and axe throwing. Saw a few deers in the evening along with the most beautiful star lit sky. This place has such a homey feel, just like vistiting family, every forgotten need was here, coffee filters, sugar etc. We will definatly be back!! Winter and Spring. Thank you guys much

Easy to get to location; very tranquil which was exactly what we were looking for; close enough to Amish Country for day trips for shopping and visiting different towns. Only recommendation for improvement would be a property map indicating where the pond is and boundaries

So relaxing!
The property is so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed early walks to take photographs and sitting around visiting in the lovely atmosphere. Inside is spacious and comfortable.

Beautiful location!
It's very peaceful here, just lovely country. You'll see all kinds of wildlife right out the windows! Mike and Pam are wonderful, quick to respond, helpful with anything you need. Excellent local pizza and ice cream shop just a few miles away. There is so much to do nearby, this is a perfect location to call home base. We toured Ohio Reformatory, hit up Charles Mill Lake, and still relaxed with fire and s'mores at the house at night. We will be back, there's so much more we want to do. Oh and, the peaches are fabulous here too!

Great country getaway
We had a wonderful time staying here. Hosts were great at communicating and helped with anything we needed. The property is beautiful and the unit was very cozy. Perfect place to stay to unwind and relax. Thanks again ya'll!

Casual, spacious setting near Mohican State Park
We picked this place to be near Mohican State Park, and we found it convenient as a base. Also for arrival and departure, it's a quick hop-skip to Interstate-71. The VRBO rental itself is casual with a big common room that has a studio, recreation vibe to it. All communication was via email and text with Pam, and it was beyond prompt. Her responses arrived less than minutes after I sent out my initial inqiury.

Great quiet place
My husband and I had a few days to call vacation, so we wanted a nice and cozy and farm feeling of stay. Looking through Vrbo I found this orchard kind of place. It was better that we needed, close to lots of things to do, places to visit...we had a wonderful time. Pam was very helpful and polite and made us feel right at home away from home. Thank you, Pam. We will be back, for sure!!

The perfect weekend get away
I sent my mom away for the weekend to enjoy some time with friends. They loved the property, the cleanliness of the rental and stated everything was so cozy. They all said they would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay out in the Country...
We had a great 5 days at this country place. Easy to get to for us to visit family. The wifi worked great and it was nice to have a tv. Full kitchen was nice to have meals. Lots of hot water for showers. The queen bed in bedroom was a bit hard for us so we slept in the bed in the living room with the nice pad on it. The 2 window unites worked well, plus the ceiling fans and box fans. Loved to sit on the deck and drink coffee. Saw a deer and her twins. Loved to walk in the orchard and to the pond.

Peaceful Getaway
Owners are friendly & helpful. Peaceful location close enough to other places of interest. Though it was a little difficult to get to a nice spot to fish, they were sure biting so the guys loved it. Having options of games & table tennis scored big as well. Timing a visit when the fruit is ready would be an added bonus in the future.

Relax with social distance
We loved the apartment. It was unusually hot for early June. The AC units in the upstairs apartment did the job of keeping us comfortable, especially for sleeping 6 people. We cooked most of our meals while there. Everything was in great condition & easy to use. The unit is far away enough from the more heavily used cabins in the area, that we felt safer health and safety-wise. We were just a short drive away from nice hiking trails and river tubing. We were very pleased with our stay. We highly recommend it.

A nice little family getaway!

The well water was really bad. The odor is not conducive to even showering in.

People used to city water will find well water different. It is not hard water as there is has no iron . Sinks have no rust stains. Soap and shampoo lather just fine. Water can have a little sulfur smell when the hot water has not been used much. We have excellent pressure and nice clear water 365 days year. In foregone times, wealthy people went to White Sulphur Springs in West Virginia because their water has sulfur in it. It was thought to have good medicinal purposes. I could probably bottle it to sell it at the Ohio State Fair. With that in mind, we stock the refrigerator with bottled water, and we have spring water from an aqaufer at Mohicanville church.in jugs for quests to use. We advertise as a farm house in the country. Well water and septic tank is our way of life. Howard, sorry if you were abit disappointed. You gave us 4 stars so youn enjoyed the spacious house , scenery, quietness, and the fresh orchard pears left for you.
