“The first night of our stay, we were entering the hotel from a side door, and I tripped on the entrance that was several inches above the ground. From above, it gives the impression that it's even with the ground, so it's really dangerous. I fell flat on my face, and I was bleeding from my nose and from several cuts near my eyes. “Very well situated, right in the old part of Newtown. Quiet neighborhood and close to the busier streets. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kindly let us stay past the check out hour. We didn’t get a room in the house we had reserved (not in Melville but in an adjacent house) and the room we got didn’t look like the pictures posted on line. It was a little poky but since we only wanted to use it to sleep in, it didn’t bother us much. ”
