“We rented this lovely cottage for a Memorial Day weekend trip. Hosted our son’s 13th birthday party with s’mores galore! The boys enjoyed the pond and walking trails. The parents enjoyed the grilling and fire pit. Pictures online didn’t do this beautiful place justice!! Thank you for the memories!”

“It fit my family perfectly i was able to cook every night. Host was the best and very attentive. She will be getting new neighbors soon which will be good she can't control neighbors.. it was so worth our stay”

“You can actually hear yourself think out in this cabin. The view is amazing and there is wildlife to watch (take binocullars) If you need to get away from all the over stimulation of your life get this cabin, It is not close to anything so take what you really need and enjoy. We drive probably 20 minutes to a small town and had some good food take out but honestly we couldnt wait to get back, I suffer from insomnia and I listened to tree frogs and crickets and slept better than I had in years.……

“Met my girlfriend as we both live out of state, her in Indiana and I’m in Pennsylvania. We picked equal distance for us both and found the White Cottage. The view was incredible even in the rain. It was clean and just perfect for our girls weekend!”

“The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that.”

“Size was great for the two of us parking was easy 25 ft from the door and the cottage was very clean. Not a bad walk to downtown 12 minute walk to shops and restaurants.”

“The local area is interesting, while you're here youll have quite a few good places to eat and nature attractions to visit.”

“My mother and I stayed in Steubenville to attend my daughter’s college graduation. The location is in a neighborhood near the university. We spent most of our time in town at events. The house has one bathroom so was fine for the two of us to use without inconvenience.”

“My girlfriend and I stayed at the property for a whole week. It was very quiet and peaceful. Out in the middle of nowhere with nature, it truly was the perfect place.”

“Kelly was great and easy to talk with. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I slept very well my whole time there. The amenities such as the hot tub, grill and the fire pit were huge hit with the family. I would stay again and I plan to0! ”

“We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s what got at the Buck Shack. We were a short drive with breathtaking views and landscapes. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores at night. Enjoyed the sound of nature and birds singing. Had excellent communication with host and most everything we needed when we arrived. The indoor decor is rustic and beautifully decorated with small accents and details. Highly recommend!☺️”
