「This hotel is a magical oasis on Playa Shalpa, a beautiful and secluded black-sand beach. The hotel has a lovely pool that my family and I loved swimming in every day. The staff was kind and accommodating. The food was excellent. We did not want to leave. We miss waking up every morning to hearing the waves.」

AC, hot water, super clean, outdoor shower with pool, hammocks, what else can you ask for! We loved this place. Stella, our host, was a great communicator and helped us on a number of occasions. 「Staff couldn’t have been nicer - must have been 25 people working there. Photos were pretty accurate, it is a collection of surf shacks, and bathrooms in each reflect that (low pressure, limited hot water if any), but I would stay there again for sure. Do not expect to be able to walk onto the beach, smooth rocks, but all rocks - could put your feet in with water shoes. The pools and environment are great, and breakfast is included. Hard to beat that. Overall the staff won me over - low budget...
