Beautiful location looking over lake, with a short walk down a slope to have a swim in the crystal clear waters. The accommodation had many lovely inclusions, beautiful glassware, plenty of crockery and cookware, snuggly throw blankets for when the temperature drops, lovely shampoo , conditioner and body lotion, everything to make your stay very comfortable.

Snow 2025

On the Lake was the perfect accommodation for our family Snow Trip in 2025. On site parking with an easy onsite check in. The fully self-contained unit was warm, with all the comforts of home. Jo has thought of everything to make holidaying relaxing and with some extra special touches, we certainly felt very welcome. There's plenty of space to unwind after a day on the mountain. The kitchen is extremely well appointed, making cooking for the family easy. The bathrooms are well supplied, and the heated towel rails were a lovely bonus. It's in a fantastic location, with an amazing outlook over the lake that can be enjoyed from both inside or around the fire pit that was ready to light. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again.

Perfect location in Jindabyne closed to dining options and grocery. It’s a very clean property, beautiful view with fire pit, complete kitchen supplies, equipped with washing machine and dryer. The host offered such an excellent hospitality, above our expectations. We will definitely stay again at this property when visiting Jindabyne.

Unit was clean and tidy. Although a ground floor unit there were 9 steep steps to negotiate carrying your luggage. This would be difficult for some people. We did as requested before leaving and stripped our beds and put used linen in the provided laundry bags but felt this was an unusual request. This is a job usually done by the cleaners and not paying guests.

Absolutely loved our stay at this stunning lakeshore home in Jindabyne! The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, arriving to a warm and spotlessly clean space. The ambiance was perfect, with a cozy backyard barbecue area that added to the relaxing vibe. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The toilets were immaculately clean - a big plus for families! Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay, and we can't wait to come back. Tranquil place by the lake

All positive experiences during our stay! Check-in/out using the lockbox was easy. The apartment which is below the house is private (although the above floor ‘creaks’ at times with movement upstairs!). The property backs onto an idyllic vista of lake views; it was very peaceful to sit out back & observe nature, including a variety of birds. The neighbouring houses share open yard access to the lake as well, so we saw occasional dog walkers pass by. The beds are comfortable & there was everything as advertised available. The driveway is very steep, but there is plenty of space for level parking at the bottom. Although the ‘hump’ at top may not allow low vehicles access, we had no trouble with our Mazda C30. Wonderful trip & would definitely stay again!!

This unit was magical. 5 friends came to explore the region. It was a relaxing base but also a magical spot to relax & enjoy a cuppa, wine outside or around the fire. The lake views are spectacular. Was an absolute joy to stay here.
