“Huts nestled into lush rainforest, Cape Tribulation Beach House is a real escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You are forced to disconnect from everything as there is no Wifi or even television. The restaurant serves a good variety of reasonably priced food and the pool is a refreshing dip under a green canopy. Pack earplugs though as the adjoining rooms can be a bit noisy.”

“We had a great one night stay. The cabins were thoughtfully set up to ensure a comfortable stay. The cabins were light and airy and really maximised the experience of staying in the rainforest. Also saw a cassowary come feed near the main board walk - the experience was surreal!”

“We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas.……

“Our stay at CapeTrib Farmstay was a trip back to nature. It gave us peace, relaxation and home comforts and all secluded within the farms ripening fruit trees. The cabin had an air conditioned bedroom a funtional bathroom and the extended canopy provided cover for comfy seating and a kitchen with gas burners and fridge freezer in an open air environment. Our Host Sam provided us with a fresh picked fruit platter which was a delight and he was very helpful with local knowledge and his kindness……

“It was a very nice and quiet place. We found the snake climbing in the gutters on house 2nd evening, very cool. The pool was nice to swim in and the fish would nibble on you and were jumping out of water a little to bite at my beard. My son thought it was a riot.”
