Suggest pack food, or have a set of wheels to get to the few available restaurants."

The dual key spa apartment was bigger than we expected, and we loved having our own space. The kitchen was also spacious. "Cape Trib beach house gives you the opportunity to have a secluded bit of rainforest and beach away from the busier parts of the Daintree. The restaurant is good, portions are large. You can sit on an idyllic beach with just a couple of others hearing and seeing the rainforest animals as waves lap upon the beach. We saw Cassowary at the property twice in our 3 day stay. You can’t go in the water, but that is true of all FNQ. This is not a luxury property but maybe a more authentic feel, the rooms have the basic necessities and are clean and comfortable. The property is well located for Daintree activities, we did both the horse riding and ziplining, both of which were excellent and can be organised by the staff."
