"We had 2 beds and a sofa bed. If you had the sofa bed open you could not walk around the end of the beds. You had to climb over the beds to get to the bathroom or exit. Bathroom is wonderful, modern and clean. Loved that it was close to a park and marina. Beautiful area. Wifi code was given but the WIFI did not work (yes the code was entered properly) overall good place to stay. But not great if you need a place for 5 ppl."

"Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable canoe rentals, beautiful lawn and playground for the kids, and the hosts are so nice, great at communication! This is our second year visiting and we WILL be back!"

"The Lakehouse was a perfect vacation for our family. The property is beautiful and much larger than expected. The home is well maintained and stocked with everything you need. The views are incredible at all hours of the day! It’s so great that I’d love to keep it all a secret."

"Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was neat and clean and Gordon was extremely helpful and friendly. We also took or dog on a trip like this for the first time and she loved it. The dock was newer and we enjoyed the beautiful lake views from it while we were there. We definitely plan on staying there again on future trips to Echo Bay."

"A gem! My jaw dropped when I walked in the door bc of the beautiful view. Large property right on the water (no beach but a dock with ladder to swim). So many areas built in to gather and have fun, like the garage with game tables and outdoor tables with lake views. The AC was a lifesaver mid-summer. The owner is very quick to communicate. We hope to be able to reserve it for longer next year!"
