Nestled on a romantic little beach front, the Carolyn Beach Inn & Restaurant was an absolute delight. The rooms were clean and the view was amazing. Do yourself a favour and try the Beef stew and Masala at the restaurant, one of the best meals of my life. The Inn is also conveniently located near a gas bar/Tim Hortans.

Love that the property is water front. Feel relaxed and safe. It looks like they are updating the rooms wish was nice. The restaurant has good food but the hours of operation are confusing. Sign out front states opened from 4 to 9 but I tried the door at 4:30 and it was lock. In saying that there are other place in town which was good. Would I continue staying there absolutely.

Disliked: Staff & service
The desk staff was somewhat rude. Part of the property was in much need of repair, the wing of the motel we stayed in had some upgrades made and were fairly clean. We had a good view of the lake and it was quiet.

The view is amazing! Wish we got there earlier to try the restaurant and sit on the beach :)
The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
The check in was great. They let us check in a bit early because of the circumstances we came up there.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open. It was to open this weekend coming. Lots of parking. The view of the lake was beautiful.
Our room was just clean as clean could be. The scenery was beautiful as the sun glistened over the lake was located outside our window-you just sit on the lawn chairs on your porch-very peaceful and relaxing.
Only thing that was a disapointment was the the restaraunt was not open for business yet.
Great location by the water and close to gas/food/highway. The room seemed clean but the fact that someone's stale pizza was sitting in the fridge was not encouraging. Poor lighting didn't help confidence either. Plus the bathroom fan clanked away something terrible.
The room was OK, but needs maintenance. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain, the toilet seat was extremely loose and the shower curtain was ‘cheap. ” The view of the bay is quite outstanding and the beach is a real added touch.
Beautiful location with a beautiful view but just feels like there is very little upkeep. Broken mirror in the bathroom, fan in the bathroom sounded like it was going to take off. Some of the lights didn’t work. Toilet roll holder barely hanging on the wall. It’s not a bad spot but just needs some love. Beautiful beach on the shore of Huron.
