“Great quiet location. The cabin is perfect for an intimate couples retreat. Our dogs loved the stream and abundant green space to play. There is another cabin that is situated close so it is not completely private. Also, the road to get to Boone/ Blowing Rock/trails/etc. is very long and windy. It Takes 15 minutes to get to and from the main road. So it takes a good 30minutes to get to where you might want to go.”

“We enjoyed the layout of the house for the size of our group.Enjoyed the large screened in porch, front porch with rockers and the hot tub. It was very near to Boone and Blowing Rock which was a real plus! Host was generous with snacks, coffee and kitchen was well equipped! Our teenage boys were a little disappointed that the pool table sticks were not usable with no felt on the tips. They did use the ping pong tabletop and enjoyed that. Was not aware there was no central air. The house seemed……

“I only had two nights at this adorable cabin, but it provided much needed relaxation and quiet time. I've experience three major losses in the past year and a half and desperately needed some "me time", which this space provided. Even though it rained during much of my visit, I was able to enjoy relaxing on the deck and sitting under the covered front portch watching my dog play in the front yard. The bed was comfy and cozy and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Can't wait until fall……
